...Chancellor Fillorean? This guy? Best. Reference. Yet.

Also, ghost ships in space: good.

Sounds like a fun one-shot. Interesting that none of the summaries of the post-Vindication comics hint at a new arc; I wonder if that's being intentionally hidden, or if there's a bit of a small story breather before the next Big Thing.

I knew Elbee was going to lose it sometime. Or is this just another T1-LB?

Sounds like a very very cool RPG adventure!
But... why is one party member missing? Gryph? [face_worried]

I thought that at first, but the blurb indicates it could well be the droid they find on the ship.

I must echo the sentiments about Grpyh, wonder why he isn't involved in this one? Unless its just an error, but the Gryph is pretty hard to forget. :p

Probably just an ancestor of that guy who also became Chancellor, much like the Finis Valorum and the one in DBRoT. If not, well then this should be interesting. :p

The ship's name is "Chancellor Fillorean".

I like the idea of this, JJM is so good at mysteries. I love Zayne's new groove as well, wonder what made him change, but I'm sure it starts with a G. :)

Hm, interesting summary. I'm still surprised that the description of the party is Zayne, Jarael, Slyssk, and Rohlan (I hope they tie up that loose thread at some point). And yeah, a ghost ship sounds awesome. And I'm still getting used to Zayne's new outfit. And hm, sounds like the group is still just on their own, given the description, although not sure why they would go visit a ghost ship- unless Gryph wants them to loot it. And I always knew that droid would turn on them sooner or later, it was inevitable.

Still no clues as to Zayne's future, but more adventures with Zayne is always a good thing too.

So, has Rohlan still not taken his helmet off yet? He screams at Zayne in issue #31 "The gambit has failed, human!" Kind of a tell, don't you think?

    I guess I just can't read. :D Its a nice reference though.

Its strange that Gryph wasn't mentioned. Maybe he's just taking an issue off for some reason, but knowing JJM it could possibly be even more sinister than that. [face_thinking]

or maybe whatever con that will happen in prophet motive will cheese off zayne and co enough to leave him behind. i'm gonna assume that zayne was knighted and is on a mission for the jedi, because it would probably explain his new robes that are closer to his old jedi ones.

Personally, I think it could be as something as simple as Gryph staying on board their ship (which would probably be the Moomo Williwaw, assuming that thing was repaired) while everybody else goes on board the ghost ship.

And yeah, Rohlan still hasn't taken off his helmet, which is getting kind of annoying. Not that Rohlan has appeared since Turnabout, and with how big the final issue of Vindication is going to be, that plot thread probably isn't going to be touched on again this arc.

And yeah, the Chancellor reference is pretty nice too.

Well, for all we really know, Demagol is unmasked and Rohlan is woken up from his coma and heads off with the group. :p

Though, really, I expect that after these couple issues of breathing space, we're going to see the whole Demagol/Jarael angle take off and drive the comic for a while as they unravel whatever the heck this mystery is.

In case anyone is wondering what Dean Zachary's art looks like...his Jarael looks like this. And his Zayne looks like this.

Gotten older haven't we, Mr. Carrick?

Also...Celeste Morne and another one of Jarael.

Obviously, these won't look as deep in comic form but still. Not bad at all. Not cartoony.
