Aspyr they have been known for doing remasters. Not remakes. I think this is their first remake

 

This is so confusing. I can't tell from that developer interview what is going on.

 

They were the same people who made the KOTOR mobile port.

They’re taking the same story but making a new game to tell it. They’re not getting into the specifics because it seems like it’s still early in the process, and because it’s Aspyr, who usually do ports, they’ve never made their own game before. The rest is developer interviewese for “Don’t worry, it’s going to be great, anyway that’ll be €70 when you preorder.”

Edit: And I totally get your confusion on the Aspyr thing, it tripped me up as well. My guess is through some convoluted chain of events they own enough of the rights to be able to make a remake, so they’re doing so. Despite traditionally being a small porting team. … Might get ugly.

 

Correct and it’s gonna be their first real game. So we’ll see how it goes.

I wonder if Revan will be voiced now. And if they would get the same TOR actor for male pc.

 

I am sure they have hired the right people to make a game from the ground up.

 

What's interesting is they said the devs had been working with Playstation. So I wonder if there was any creative input or just business.
