Legacy #14: Claws of the Dragon, part 1 (of 6)

My understanding -- and I KNOW Jan will correct me if I'm wrong<g> -- is that talon hits Hosk with the Force blow and cade ignites the lightsaber.

BTW -- I am here. I just like to lurk usually when the book first comes out. Get reactions without butting in.

And for the record, I like Cade's Sithly eyes WITH the smarmy dialogue. They go together like P-B and J on Corellian wheat-bread.

I'll tell you what I liked about this issue-- the fantastic evocation of the underbelly of Coruscant. Brad Anderson's coloring really is tying the whole Legacy series together, no matter who's doing the art. And it was great to see Travis Charest on the cover. Even if he makes Cade resemble the Great Katarn a bit too much for credibility,lol.

 

Darth Nihl really, really creeped me out in this issue.

Nevertheless, he'll have a tough time if he's seriously planning to move against the big boss, even in his weakened state: Darth Wyyrlok seems serious about protecting his master.

All in all, this was a great issue.
