OK. If he's busy fighting some other guy and his armor can take the hit, he doesn't have a lot of incentive to block it. It doesn't seem like too much of a knock on his skill.

Far as I'm concerned if he's on a battlefield, fighting someone, and he takes a hit, his armor be damned, there's nothing he can do about it.

It does appear to throw him back a bit and if Cade had been pushing the attack or something, that moment would have cost Nihl his life. Instead, Cade stops to see who fired the blaster and talk with Syn for a second instead of finishing off the guy he just swore he would kill. ;)

It's a knock to Cade's skill, but not to Nihl's. Whatever. Cade was just surprised.

Sure Syn hates Sith--but Cade knows how much Syn hates Jedi. Cade was just looking to see if that shot was meant for him--or if the next one would be. What better time to get the drop on a Jedi than when he's fighting for his life?

Nihl's armor is able to take a blaster shot or two. Probably a holdover from his days as a warlord.

    Same goes for a Sith.

::frantically checks Wookieepedia to see if this was already known about Nihl::

    Aw,shucks.

    Thanks for the clarification, Jan.

Are we going to find out why Syn hates Jedi so much?

Quick question: what does "Tugi, patisa" mean?

I assume it's a greeting that Cade gives Shado, but I'd like to know what the translation is.

Lazy, slang was of saying,"Toogi, pateesa." which means,"Greetings, friend."

    Thanks, JD!

Although, if he'd really wanted to be lazy, he could have just said "hi." :p
