Biography:


Jahenrys was born to Queen Isabella and King Rufus Windwalker of Thustra. They were royalty of Thustra and looked to their daughter to claim the throne when she was of age. Jahnerys had a younger brother Prince Javari who loved to play with his sister when she wasn’t doing her royal duties. Jahnerys was always shy ever since she can remember. Sometimes a bit awkward as well. She never felt like she belonged in the royal court. Her parents noticed she was force sensitive but didn’t contact the Guardians of Light because they wanted a better life for her than that of a Jedi. She was to be queen of Thustra and nothing in their mind was to get in that way.


Jahnerys couldn’t explain the things she could do at a young age. One day a Jedi from the Guardians of Light was visiting Thustra and the Royal Palace. The Jedi Knight accidently saw the young Princess move one of her blocks with telekinesis. The Jedi Knight informed the Queen and King about what he witnessed and they were angry that he saw it. The Jedi Knight pleaded with the royal couple telling them that if Jahnerys didn’t come with him to the Jedi Temple then she will be vulnerable to Sith who may come and take her. The Queen and King thought about what the Jedi Knight had said and reluctantly gave their child up to Jedi Knight.


As time went on Jahnerys powers grew but her self confidence wavered because she was bullied at the temple by other Padawans who tried to take advantage of the Princess. She didn’t make many friends and sometimes it affected her training. She was very good in training when she focused. It’s just sometimes she could hear the other Padawans talking and she felt as if they were talking about her. Jahnerys will be a good Jedi once she gets her confidence up.

He was then given somewhat against his will to the Guardians of Light due to his people’s superstitions and fear of being cursed by his presence. His Master recently left the order and he is currently without a mentor.

Habits/Mannerisms: When in deep thought, Jaal sometimes has a habit of messing with his facial hair, often lightly pulling it as an idle habit, but never to the point of pulling it out. He’s often contemplated removing it all in a bid to break this habit.

Likes/Dislikes: He loves being outdoors and listening to music when not on duty. He dislikes overly loud people, as well as absolute silence.

Racial Traits: Typical human, but in better physical fitness than many. Surprisingly quick for his size. Speaks with a slight “Imperial” accent, despite never being part of the Empire.

Biography: Jaal was born aboard a freighter travelling between planets to a single mother who was poor, and unable to care for him properly. Shortly after his birth, the pair were found by a travelling Jedi knight from the Guardians of Light, who eventually agreed to take Jaal into the Order in hopes of a better life for him. It was there he grew up, knowing nothing of his mother beyond the fact that she gave him up in hopes he would have a better life. For that, he has always been grateful, though his abandonment periodically has bothered him inwardly. Of the many padawans who knew where they came from, he was one of the few who had no idea.

As a padawan, Jaal struggled with lightsabers, though hand-to-hand and other combat forms came more natural to him, thanks to his physical shape and ability. While he showed some knack for the more physical side of using the Force, the more refined skills escaped him, and he soon dropped out of Jedi training in favor of the security team.

While Jaal was often allowed the use of smaller personal ships to get from one place to another, he eventually decided a slightly larger ship was of better use for him, and allowed him more movement space and less claustrophobia when travelling. After purchasing the ‘Aurora Dawn’, he has found it to be useful for transport duties as well, giving him another satisfying role within the order as a supplier and pilot for Jedi teams.

Personality: Kind-hearted and easily amused, Grovaak is typically gentle and friendly to everyone, especially his friends and fellow Jedi. He is always eager to help with a task, especially when a little muscle is needed. Despite his calm and gentle demeanor, he is still a Wookie, and can be quite terrifying in combat. While never unnecessarily brutal, he prefers to end fights quickly, rather than drag things out, and would rather disable an opponent rather than outright destroy them, like most Wookies would.
Habits/Mannerisms: Because he often runs into people not fluent in Shryiiwook, he tends to be more of a listener, and can sometimes come off as quiet. He also likes to carve wood in his spare time, leading to his quarters being full of small trinkets of varying complexity. When making friends and acquaintances, he likes to give out his handiwork, both as a kind gesture and a way to free up space. The Jedi usually practice minimal possessions, but he sees them as a gift to someone he has yet to meet, and a way to come to peaceful and charitable understandings.

Racial Traits: Strength, excellent climber, good swimmer, excellent woodcarver, but unable to verbally speak anything other than Shyriiwook. Long, retractable claws help with climbing, but are never used for fighting. Hairy. Very very hairy.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Grovaak is a skilled psychometric, able to sense past events based on places, objects, and people. This makes him a very competent detective, and he can sense what a person has been through in order to relate with them. However, his large size and Wookie reputation can be intimidating to many and makes him uncomfortable in tight spaces. Being as strong as he is, Grovaak occasionally lets his strength go overboard, resulting in lists of repairs on delicate items.
Physical Strengths/Weaknesses: Obviously immense Wookie strength is a pro, along with endurance. Size is a limiting factor in close quarters and small ships.
Appearance: 2.1 meters tall, covered in dark brown to black fur, multiple twisted locks of fur hanging from his head and bound with gold tubes halfway and at the ends, slightly lighter brown beard and eyebrows. He keeps 2 braids of thick hair, one in honor of his former master and a reminder of his training, which is braided with carved wroshyr wood beads. The other is long and covered with many beads of varying metals, each carved uniquely and ornately and representing a padawan he has instructed over the years. They are not a tally, or mark of pride, but a reminder of his responsibilities to those he takes under his mentorship and the impact that each has had on his own journey.

Biography: Grovaak was born on Kashyyyk and raised by his two parents within the Kaapauku clan. As was common within the clan, his parents were both clock makers, and sold a large part of their wares off world. Early into Grovaak’s childhood, his father left the planet to ship clocks to Coruscant, but never returned. It was later found that a band of pirates had run across the Wookie’s ship, attempted to steal it, and ultimately destroyed it and Grovaak’s father in the botched attempt.

Years later, when Grovaak turned twelve, he entered the Shadowlands as part of his coming-of-age ritual. Tasked with finding his inner strength, or rraktorr, he travelled through the dark swamps, fending off numerous beasts and learning to survive. In the process, the dangerous ritual brought out Grovaak’s grasp of the Force, as he used it to fight off a katarn by lifting it into the air. Not realizing what his abilities were, he finished the ritual, and was ultimately accepted as an adult into Wookie society.

It wasn’t until later that a stranger in brown robes found Grovaak and was able to finally explain to him what his powers meant. The Jedi, as he turned out to be, convinced Grovaak to leave and train with the Guardians of Light on Saridona Prime. Though it was difficult leaving the only life he’d ever known, Grovaak went and was accepted into the ranks of the Guardians of Light.

Grovaak quickly became well-known at the Temple, considering the number of Wookies wielding a lightsaber could be counted on one hand. He also quickly received a reputation for being a powerful fighter, thanks to his strength. His first few training blades, however, were all broken to shards after a few rounds of sparring, and his masters had to work hard to find a lightsaber tough enough for his grip. Eventually, Grovaak found a solution in his skills as a woodcarver, and, with his masters’ help, fashioned a training saber made from imported wroshyr wood. The material was familiar and soothing, allowing him to finally relax his grip and learn better control.

Over the course of his training, and eventual pairing with a master as a padawan, Grovaak learned skills in Psychometry, which allowed him to learn about places and events through echoes in the Force. His master, a Human named Master Ryoth, was quick to put this skill to use, helping Grovaak become a well-respected detective within the Temple.

Once Grovaak’s learning under Master Ryoth was completed, he was raised to the rank of Jedi Knight and crafted his lightsaber into its current form. From there, he undertook many missions as a lead investigator for the Temple, with goals ranging from finding missing padawans to solving murders. He was often pair with his old master, until Master Ryoth eventually passed away from old age.

After putting his old friend to rest, Grovaak took up the role of mentor, and began leading and training new padawans until they reached knighthood. Over the years, he has taught many students, putting an emphasis on critical thinking and Force mastery, while honing his own abilities. He is a patient teacher, a result from his long lifespan and learning that not everyone can understand him. He takes great joy in seeing his pupils grow and succeed, though his training methods are necessarily difficult at times. He also believes in learning by doing, and therefore prefers to expose students to training in the real world, as opposed to a classroom or training facility.

Brought to the Guardians at a young age, Fen's sure path forward to knighthood was brought to a halt after a pirate attack while on patrol left him with serious injuries and killed his Master. While bacta and Jedi healers can do a great deal, some of the damage was permanent, including an unexpected difficulty using the Force. With no Master and little success in reconnecting to the Force, Fen works primarily in the archives while deciding whether or not to continue his Jedi path.

Biography:
Dorran Hus grew up on the seedy streets of Nar Shaddaa, where he began his life as a gang member in Gral Gang. During his criminal time he encountered a Jedi who saw in him great potential in the Force. The Jedi offered him theopportunity to lesrn the ways of the Force, which Dorran at first considered “amusing,” and a“joke.” However, during a comflict eith a rival gang, Dorran was saved by the Jedi when all his brothers in the ganag fled, lesving hin to die. It was then Dorran saw the nature of the Jedi gang, so he called it, differed from the one he’d calles family. Dorran was taken to the Jedi Temple and trained by Master Kendras Oom. The Zabrak at first did get along with his master, but in time he learned ro sdopt her disciplined approach to conflict and in meditation he found solace for his restless soul. Dorran was knighted, and was given the choice of apprentices, he chose Kato, whom he hoped totemper and teach that wisdom lies beyond book knowledge and cleaver epitaphs.

Personality: Light-hearted and humorous, loyal, tries to assume the best but expects the worst in others.
Habits/Mannerisms: Can be overly enthusiastic/aggressive. Likes to keep his spaces tidy whether the cockpit of a ship or his quarters.

Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: Agile, flexible, and strong. Over sustained periods of fighting, his left wrist swells up from a broken bone that never properly healed. The swelling spells are sporadic and can vary in how long they last.

Biography: Koji grew up with his mother and step-father on Maridun. His childhood was spent playing with his brother Jido. When he was still young, a Jedi was conducting an investigation near his families home and found Koji to be strong in the force and discussed his adoption into the Jedi Order. Jido was also force sensitive, but for unknown reasons he was not considered for training. Koji's mother was hesitant but both his parents agreed to let the Jedi take their son.

One of Koji's last missions as a Padawan brought him to Saridona Prime where he discovered the Jedi faction that called themselves the Guardians of Light. After passing the trials and becoming a full fledged member of the Jedi Order as a Knight, Koji set off and joined the Guardians.

Racial Traits: unlike most other humanoids, Bivi like other Rylotheans runs at a higher body temperature. She can afford to bear within naturally low temperatures and doesn't like to wear too many layers in general.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Incredibly adept at sensing the feelings of others. Bivi is both in tune with her surroundings as well as herself in the force and in emotions. Sometimes she has a hard time seeing herself as good enough in multiple facets of her life.
Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: has high endurance and acrobatics. Bivi can also hold her breath for exceptionally long periods of time. The Twi'lek is physically modest, so she relies on agility to be efficient against enemies.

Biography: Ugem'bivi grew up in an agricultural family. Her father was a merchant but lost his business in a bad trade deal with a mining company that ended up being a front for spice runners. The new republic busted the smugglers and her father wasn't able to recoup the losses. Her mother was a seamstress and helped work the land to grow and sell crops. When Bivi was old enough, she discovered her force sensitivity when she inadvertently helped avert a wild beast from attacking her by quieting it through a mind connection. Her affinity to the force and to living things was apparent to her parents before that, and they were convinced their daughter was meant for something more than farming. It took them several months to reach someone but once they did, a Jedi came for her and brought her to the temple for training.

Personality: Markus is boisterous, exuberant, unorthodox, and a bit naive. Markus looks at the galaxy as one big playground where the good guys win, and the bad guys always lose.
Habits/Mannerisms: Thinks out loud, making it seem like he's talking to himself.
Likes: Keeping himself busy, training, reading, fighting, honor, and justice.
Dislikes: Criminals, Imperials, Sith, Evil people (depends on Markus' point of view.)
Racial Traits: Strongly attuned to the force, specifically the Dark Side, but he fights hard to resist its beckoning call.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Highly inventive, passionate, and self-motivating. Markus tends to dehumanize people he considers evil. Highly sensitive to criticism. Prone to letting his emotions take control at times.
Physical Strengths and Weaknesses: Markus is agile, and his body is strong. However, Markus has a genetic defect that makes the left leg slightly shorter than the other causing him to walk and run with a limp.

It doesn't slow Markus down, but it just means that he can't increase his speed naturally with exercise.

Biography:
As a Korrunite, his people were hunted down to near extinction by the Galatic empire many years ago. Specifically, his descendants became refugees and managed to escape the Empire's grasp by traveling to Bardotta, where the Dayogan order accepted them.

For generations, his family would cut off their connection to the force and their offspring to not have their true nature dominate their destiny as the Dark Side always came so easy to them.

Markus's parents chose to cut themselves as the time came. Eventually, Markus discovered both his force sensitivity and dark nature during a session at the play yard at the age of 16. Markus got so angry at his teachers for punishing him unfairly. This wave of anger caused Markus to lash out with the power of the force.



The only thing that prevented Markus from killing his teachers was his parents. After that incident, Markus had to choose. Cut himself off from the force forever and continue living on Bardotta or continue having the force but be exiled from Bardotta until he mastered them. Markus was in agony over his choice, but in the end, he chose to embrace the force, choosing to live with the burdens that came with his nature, seeking to master them.
