JCC [LEGO IS AWESOME] It's like Christmas come early!!

One way to get rid of FOMO. Had a go at reverse engineering the Celebration exclusive Vader bust (75227) as LEGO were kind enough to provide photos from all angles. The way the side helmet flaps attach, plus the bottom tubes of the mask I know will need some work. Happy with the results from the parts I had available. Should be pretty easy to upgrade it to match the official version when the instructions get put on line in due course.




It's a really nice scale and size - may look to MOC some companion pieces when I get a chance.

Finally found the LEGO thread!

Only 5 hrs left but amazon prime day has Voltron and Ywing UCS at $140 and $150 respectively.

Picked up the ywing, didn't have the points for both.

Lego Ideas Voltron is retired this year ( also a lot of stuff i don't care about). I believe the UCS ywing is also retiring.

Grab them before the scalpers do. I read it last night after wondering why price was jumping around. Amazon stock on Voltron has been back and forth (snagged a restock this morning).

 

My dining room table as of ten mins ago. Yes this is awesome as it looks. Don’t ever buy Lego for a space geek for Christmas if you don’t want them to build Cape Canaveral in your dining room.

 

My son is into Mega Blox / Mega Construx Call of Duty sets. The little figures that come with them are miles better than LEGO minifigs.
