Dante’s peak 2, why is the volcano erupting again. Just when you thought it was safe to go back, you thought wrong.

How the grinch stole Christmas 2. Somehow the grinch hates Christmas again. His heart got smaller again.

I have another for a tv reality show

The apprentice 2, Donald Trump is no longer President and got demoted back to being a tv host show. I wish he was not president at all period.

 

To clarify, I would not like this sequel. The movie ended with little to no room for a continuing story. The environmental message is out there, no need to undo it.


Another one: High School Musical 4.

they graduated and moved on with their lives in 3.

 

The Godfather, Part III - Michael's character arc of self-imposed isolation and damnation was complete at the end of Part II, making any possible sequels' returns to such themes redundant. Not to mention the risk that some bad actors could end up getting cast for critical roles.

Titanic II

It is dark at the bottom of the ocean and nothing good happens there.

 

Star Wars Episode X: Rey is driven into hiding by a pupil of hers that turn evil and kills the remaining Jedi.

Rogue One II

Should not be made because “Rogue One II” is a stupid and confusing title. Also, literally every character in the original movie is dead by the end, except for bit-part characters like Darth Vader and Princess Leia, and who cares about them.

 

Or "Rogue One II: Three Four Five". Featuring a CGI Leslie Nielsen.
