I’d like to see Sergey get a shot before Stipe. I mean the dude is 40 years old.

Like I said, the only one who can beat Jon Jones, is unfortunately, Jon Jones himself.

It’s not about celebrating Jon Jones. He is what he is: a horrible human being and one of the greatest mma fighters ever.

You not liking him doesn’t change that. People have wanted Jon to lose for years. He hasn’t and likely won’t. That’s an analysis of his fighting ability, not a judgement call on his character.

@Juliet316 Now comes the interesting part. How does Jones get stripped of the belt:

    A. Drunk driving.
    B. Busted for steroids.
    C. Domestic violence.
    D. Some other stupidity.
    E. All of the above.

My best friend actually was going to order the fight last night. I talked him out of it. His daughter's birthday party was today and the first thing he said was "dude thanks for talking me out of ordering the fight" lol

    Leon vs Kamaru 3

Fiziev vs Gaethje… these are two actual disciples of bodily harm and brutality. Men who have studied the art of violence, both inflicting it and taking it, and we are going to be able to see them clash on the same fight card as a Usman and Leon. Spoiled

The violence that will be on display on Saturday

Why… why must we have a British champ!

Congrats to Leon. I didn’t know how the scoring was going to go.

Congrats to Gaethje for the win over Fiziev. An amazing, violent win.

For some strange, unknown reason, I misread my bonanza and picked Gaethje as the loser instead of the winner.

    Ho-Lee-Crap

In hindsight, it feels very natural that these two behemoths who made their bread by smothering competition would eventually join together, they really couldn’t have it any other way. Prediction: there isn’t enough oxygen for both Dana and Vince to be in the same room with each other, eventually, one will need to be thrown out the airlock. I think it will be Vince . . .

Whichever way it goes for him tonight, I think this will be the defining fight of Izzy's career. Should be exciting :D

Incredible moves by Izzy, he didn’t just play possum, he was like a pork chop hanging on a rope over a crocodile farm. And just when the gator jumps for the bait . . . [face_beatup]

    Incredible =D=

Edson Barboza’s knee was a show stopper tonight. Absolute savage knockout.

Congrats to Blessed for winning the main event. I swear… everytime I watch Max fight I think of how incredible it is that Volk beat him not once but twice. Max is a complete savage and Arnold Allen is no slouch.

Missed out on it, as I’m trying to plow through Jedi: Survivor these days. Not surprised that Aljo prevailed, he is quite the warrior and Cejudo is getting up there in age. Although I see it was a split decision, how close, and was there any controversy?

    Sure!

Muhammad’s win over Burns was very hollow and disappointing. Burns either entered the fight with a shoulder injury or injured it in round 1 or 2, but he literally couldn’t throw a punch with his left arm. And it STILL WENT TO DECISION. Belal’s not a bad fighter but he is a boring fighter.

Yan Xiaonan KO’d Andrade in probably the most impressive victory last night. Sets up a fight with Zhang Weili most likely as Carla got completely dominated by ZHANG, Rose is in some weird space and Lemos…. I mean… sure but I’d rather see two Chinese fighters fighting for the belt. Would mean a lot for them and the UFC.

So the Aljo Cejudo fight was close, to me, in the sense where I gave Cejudo 2 rounds. So a 3-2 in favor of Aljo. I thought the rounds Aljo won were clear, at least to me.

Official scorecards do tell a different story.

Apparently it boiled down to that 2nd round. My card looks like Eric Colon’s. So slightly controversial but I feel like anyone watching that fight, scorecards aside, would conclude that Aljo was the better fighter for longer.

Plus, they’re both very cringe and people don’t like Aljo. Perfect for controversy.

Especially given Aljo's next fight is apparently Sean O'Malley.

Dana setting Sean up to get murdered. Dude’s not that level and he’s going to get hurt unless he vastly improves.
