Lets invade the British!

You do realize that Americans have guns, right?!

 

Bah! Americans are simple creatures - all you need is a giant flag, and a some Galstonbury-esque speakers blasting out their national anthem. That'll get all the gun-toting-heathen to drop their weapons and salute the flag. Then we send in the SSS - Special Sheep Service - to discretely collect all the weapons from under their noses......


....and I came up with all this while revising EU competition policy!

 

Yes for too long have the Americans been rampaging this world under the red white and blue hiding the fact that they collectively are the new antichrist

 

I don't know, say what you like about the American's, but they tend to take the whole attacking their country thing a bit seriously.

What if we first occupy our twin chapter, then slowly and quietly install puppet regimes in key political positions, until the entire infostructure is under my.. Sorry, our control.

Then we strike and take over the entire country....

THEN THE WORLD!

 

Don't let the actions of W make you think all Americans support his ideas.

All right, I gotta know. While talking to one of my English friends last night, he claims that the American's didn't win the Revolutionary War: The British simply didn't want to bother with it anymore. Is that true?

 

Of course it's true.

 

I'm not that up on the American cival war, so I don't really know.

But given that it took them like 8 months to sail over from Britain, they might have very well thought, what's the point?

Now if America had to invade Britian to gain it's indipendence, or even fight on a nutral battle field, i'm sure history would be very different.

 

Not to take anything away from the Americans, but that was a part of the reason the war ended when it did. Genuinely the British government at the time had other pressing issues in other parts of the world as well, and the expenditure in man power and resources was huge. They decided that to press the war hard enough to actually win would not be worth it. Of course, it took a huge effort and some great fighting on the part of the Americans to make the British think that way in the first place, so there you go.

 

They are pretty good at wars, i'll give them that.

But would they have won their indipendence with Mel Gibson??
