huh. Interesting. Cut and paste of a sentence containing the word gave me 'Spanish' with Xerox's language identifier. Babelfish gave me 'settled' as the translated word.

hm. I'm stumped.

As far as I can tell Tragic is right (although apparently it is not be the word you were thinking of, AW). See: http://www.businessspanish.com/verbs/SALDAR.htm apparently saldado is the past participle of Saldar, "meaning to sell off (productos), to settle (cuenta), to pay off (deuda)."

 

Well I'm not playing officially this time, but I have confirmed the word is Portuguese.

As for meaning, and why I'm still stumped, and await enlightenment.

just the sept 11 thing. I was kind of one of the reasons AT60 got banned as ive been told, becasue he upset me with some of the stuff he said about the pentegon, and i had lost family there, so i was quite upset.

But on a happyer note, not another word abotu that in this thread, or i will leave, and i mena it, pretend it was never said.
