LF&CC PHOTOS

Hey there peeps! Well we all had a great time this weekend. It was good to see everyone again and great to meet those of you who we (me and Koren) hadn't met before. Jules and Michi (sp?) were both lovely and Edge and Wicket (Tim B) were both like cuddly teddy bears. We didnt really see much of Voren as he was busy with more important things and Hunky Evil, Rob and Deborah from the Rebbel Legion were only there on Saturday. Still, it was great to meet you all.

Lovely sharp photos, and great seeing you and Koren(?) for the first time.

I went round that place almost three times, and I completely missed the FanForce table!

 

I was there on Saturday and didn't see a table - if I had I would have said hello. Was the table there on Saturday or just on Sunday?

 

The table was there both days (row I table 7). Nice to meet you too

 

I echo what Matt & Koren said; it was great seeing everyone and we had a great time. Jule & Michi are back in Germany safe and well and also had an excellent weekend and it was good us being able to all meet up.

The table had plenty of Star Wars and FanForce (plus Rebel legion) items on but because it was only one table, it may have been slightly swamped. Plus we were meant to have a backing board which sadly didn't work out, but that would have made a difference. But hopefully we will make more appearances at these shows, so fingers crossed

More photos will come. I'll post Steve's when he sends them to us and Jule & Michi will have there's, plus I'm sure Jase will post some links.

Although, I was only around for about ten minutes Good to see everyone again, and the other people I hadn't met, very nice to meet you.

Sorry I wasn't at the table much but I had too many purchases to make! I didn't go see Carrie in the end because of the big 'No Personalisation, No Photos' sign above her. I thought she was being a stinge.. but it sounds otherwise!

Pleased everyone had fun anyway.. I'll post a photo of my Clone Trooper purchases. I'm up to 10 Utapau's and 60 regular ROTS troopers Then a whole bunch of commanders on top of that

 

That's a shame about Carrie, we were luckier, it must have been very busy when u saw her, She was still amazingly busy when we saw her, but SHe did chat, personalise pictures and also pose for pictures and even a Kiss ! Got some great shots and I thought She looked great for her age. From what I saw, She posed for pictures with everyone who She saw and even had Crew to take the picture!

Was a good event, Many thanks to Charlie and Fiona for their company and time.

Hello all! Sorry to have been absent so long after getting back from the trip. The Comic-Con looks like it was super fun!! Love the pics! Those Taun-Tauns were fantastic! LOVED your costumes (Matt and Koren)! Your custom one, Matt, looks great - do you have any detailed pics? A bit hard to make out in the low lighting.....a Sith I take it???
What was Carrie like? Anyone get to see her? The table looks amazing - fantastic work!! I'd join up if I saw you there...

Yrol, I can send you a detailed pic of my costume via e-mail. It's based on a RotS Anakin concept illustration (pg.85 in the Art of RotS). It's still work in progress but I'm pleased with how it looks. And thanks for taking the time to visit this thread

Carrie Fisher was okayish on Saturday but a lot more friendly on Sunday. I think they have a bit more time on the Sunday so they're more willing to pose for photos and chat.

 

Matt (DK) - that would be great!!! I am already booked into the hotel, just have to get my train tickets now. I am actually going down on Friday night because I plan to go to Joust on Saturday, just outside of Bristol.

Jule - your link did work at one point lol, I saw the fox, but them something happened.

 

Yep, I got sucked into the costuming last year after spending too much time in Germany with Jule & Michi and then too much time in kingston with Matt & Koren. I have little talent too but thankfully I have plenty of resources

And that's my pet fox btw Her two cubs are a bit shy but she has even started walking into the house now. She'll be sleeping on my bed next month at this rate
