People mentioned several ideas about running events or playing games in the Line Party for Episode III. This is what I can remember thus far...

Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat with Ep III as Entropy is with C3. I wouldnt miss it for anything, but I may not be able to actually get to the theater until just a few hours until opening. We have registration that week and Thursday is the last day. I should be able to slip out a little early, but won't be able to do the night-before thing. I'm already missing most of early registration going to C3. Just not sure exactly how much time I will have for anything.

Trust me Riff, I'm not happy about it. But I looked at our calendar and realized that both events are at the same time. Again, I wont miss the movie, and should hopefully be able to get there right after supper.

 

Come on eddie, just call in sick or something, say your getting old and just forgot to go to work. Tell them you couldn't get joe to stop trying to sniff... you figures...

Thursday, I think. May 19th, but it will be the night before the midnight release, which technically the 17th will be the night we camp out.

 

Someone be sure to bring this up along with any ideas you have at the next meeting. Also be sure to wear your official tee-shirts to the meetings and to the line party... even if it is under your costume ( if you are planning to dress up that is ).

something i brought up on another thread and forgot which one it was... what are we going to do after the thrid and final movie? and another thing that we need to conquer is the fact that after this final movie there will be a drop in intrest in about a year (i forcast) and then what will we continue to do to keep intrests high and even advance the interaction with the community with starwars events... ~if my thoughts make sense~

 

I dont forsee a huge drop in interest, simply because they will be making a Star Wars TV show. Not the same, no, but it should keep the fires stoked. Also, with talk of Lucas releasing the movies again in 2007 in 3D, could do something as well.

 

"Always in motion the future is..." let's get through C-III and Episode III before we dwell too much on possible loss of interest... that said I can see us starting our own little continuity based on the Star Wars universe with Fan films and the like.

well thats cool then, what about immedidiately after the move though at like 2 in the morning? we just going to head in our own directions or what?

I dont know what we will do afterwards. Most likely, we will definitely hit someplace to eat, and sit back and chat away about the movie. That has become something of a tradition. Fett will have to go home, because he will have to work the next day, but I am off, and will be heading back to the theater sometime that day.
