Forgive me for creating another thread about Lucas at C3, but this deals specifically with lining up for the event. What time does everyone plan to get in line? I was thinking 3-4 AM, or even 1 AM if that is what it takes to get in.

I'm thinking 4AM. However, I will do a walk-by of the convention center around midnight, just to see if there is any sort of line forming. If there is, I'll scoot over there.

If security will allow it; I plan on rotating with my two hotel room mates; starting after the 510st party. If they will not allow it then we will hit the line about 4:00.

I'm looking at 5am. I dont care if I make the first, just want to make one of the 3. This is the biggest thing on my list besides the C3 vader and props. The rest is just fluff right now.

    I agree.

You only have to be among something like the first TEN THOUSAND people (technically 9,900) in line to see Lucas. That is a LOT of people.

Even if there are 1,000 people in line by 5AM (think about how many people that is), you will still easily make it in.

I agreee with Sith man. One benefit of having a hotel right in a few minutes walking distance. Can check it through out the night if important enough.

6AM is too late. That is when they will be starting to count off who will get in.

5AM will be more than fine.

As soon as I can. Star Wars fans have a tendency to line up awfully early and I assume this event won't be an exception. Hell, if they'll allow it and if the weather is OK, I'll get in line around Midnight and just doze off and on.

As early as they let us. I'm thinking, start loitering around midnight. Either they'll let us, or they'll tell us when to come back. If they tell us when to come back, then I'll do that

I have good news for everyone attending the Player Breakfast on Saturday April 23rd at the Marriott.

We encounted the unforeseen issue of George Lucas speaking at the same time as our breakfast. For paid attendees only, when you pick your badge up, I will have a marker that allows you admission to one of the George Lucas talks. This is for paid attendees of the breakfast event *ONLY*. Please do not bring along other friends for the markers.

So... do not wait in line for your marker if you want to see George. Come see me outside the Marriot ballroom 6 starting at 7:00 am to pick up your badge and marker! George's talk will still conflict with some of our breakfast, but the total walk through demo of Rage of the Wookiees is now at 11:15 am, so everyone who wants to should be able to see the demo as well.

Hope this helps all of you!

    Ronda :)

    Community Relations Specialist, LucasArts

Translation - I wait in a line of a max of 199 people, get admission into George's talk, get a cruddy seat, and sleep a full night.

    :D

OK, so I wonder how many other "special admission" seats are going to be already accounted for for George?

I am lining up the moment they allow people to line up. I will be filing right out of Return of the Jedi at midnight. From there, it's off to see George. If that means waiting across the street until they let us line up, that is what I will be doing. I am working this thing the same way that I worked everything at the first two Celebrations. It ended up working for the first two so that I was able to do every single thing that I wanted and all that I sacrificed was some sleep. Seeing as how I only sleep about four to five hours a night as it is, not much of a sacrifice for what might be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Night4554, I read that tonight myself and was like "They actually thought about us...." I was in shock and awe reading the rest of the thread. I saw she had posted a couple other times and thought she would explain to the point I'd go "oohh...screwed again...excellent". It should be interesting which "group" we will get to go in with. The way she made it sound was that she was going to have chits for all three shows. Bummer is my friend I'm going with didn't sign up for the breakfast cuz she doesn't play Galaxies...also, my buddies g/f. Oh well...times like this...it's everyone for themselves I suppose. :)

He has 3 showings, but aren't they handing out tickets so I mean you want to leave you may?

I won't mind be there from 4am, but I am just more worried about going Urinating and people will take my spot.
