Awwww, I, too, am happy that you're finally showing your colourings in your own thread!

They look awesome! I love the way you coloured the Anakin and "Jedi Amy" (as FF called her in her thread) one with the lightsaber glow!

I that Anakin+other one was really a bugger to do, Lighting wise...

but I do think Tahiri is my LEAST favourate.

I love what you are doing with the lighting!! It gives the pictures a new depth of emotion. I also like the crouching Jedi's hair.. looks really good. (hair is so hard to get right) What do you use to color? That is what software/hardware?

I use Paint Shop Pro for all much work, both Graphic and colouring. I ts a great package if you know how to use it.

 

I remember seeing the Skywalker family coloured version in FF's thread and just loved it. Such great vibrant choice of colours, most particularly the red hair playing off the green shirt. Lighting can be so tricky, but you have a good grasp on it and it really adds to the drawing - Especially on the Anakin & Jedi Amy piece.

See how behind I've been. You do have a thread! I love the one of Mara with Ben. You do have a way with PSP. I tried that but could never get the feel of it I have with Photoshop. The light and shading is brilliant.

I love seeing everybody take on FF's work!
If it's the work she's done for me, so much the better ;p
I love what each take has brought to the table so far

 

Lovely skin colouring on the both of them! The colours are integrated so smoothly together and in a realistic fashion. I absolutely love the bright shine on Caback's skin. I didn't know that FF's work could get more beautiful than they already were. It's amazing what a little colour can do, especially when it's done well.

Ah, yes...more wonderment from the audience! You've done a masterful job with Lyndal and Caback, Lippy--just gorgeous! And I'll tell you again that it's like looking at an entirely different piece of art once you've worked your magic. I'm sure the T_W_D is delighted with these (you have shown him, haven't you...?)--as am I! Hugs!

Oh, Coback looks just wonderful, Lippy!! I can see that you're consulting with T_W_D, as the colors are what he was specifying for me (who works in shades of gray, lol!)--he just looks great! Well done!

Oh and for the record - I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the way Coback's necklace hangs away from his neck...it's just soooooooo realistic! Cudos!

As I've already commented over in my own thread, Lippy--the two versions of the Jag and Jaina piece are just beautiful! The colors are gorgeous, and I so totally love the idea of the framed holo up on the Solo family "picture shelf," with all the other holos of all the kids and the entire family...what a great image! Just beautiful!
