List some mistakes Hasbro made

This thread is about mistakes Hasbro
made.
Here are some:

1) Hasbro said Clonebikes would attack AT-TEs
2) Pilot Amidala and Amidala from the upcomming Conventory belt scene
both are collection 2 which doesn`t make sense since she`s not a secondary character and pilot Padmé has a quickdraw feature.
3) Hasbro made cream coloured Battle Droids for AOTC but they should be red wine coloured.
On second thought:
They probably knew about the colour change but made two versions so people
spend money on both versions.

4) The Super Battle Droid isn`t crome-
grey coloured as he should.

Oh, that really doesn`t botter me.
This is the first time we list ´em.

 

-The Saga Jango Fett Figure (Kamino Excape) Has thick Stubble, allthough the Actor dose not.

- The Kamino Escape Boba Fett comes with Accessorys which are from other parts of the Movie (Jangos Helmet+Jetpack, something he would not have had till the Battle of geonosis.)



There are to many to list

 

POTF2 Dengar didn't have his "backpack".

POTF2 Boba didn't have the right belt.

Bespin Darth Vader has red eyes (they were only red in ANH).

Thats all I can think of for right now!

Speaking of red eyes: Both Kamino Jango and Speeder Bike pilot Clone Trooper have red irises.
A bit too evil for my taste.

5) POTJ Obi Wan came with Qui-Gon`s lightsabre. You can`t really count this as a mistake.

6) Hasbro forgot to paint the plastic costume part under the belt of soft goods Obi Wan Kenobi from Ep 1white.

OK, I'm just gonna limit myself to the Saga line for now...

More than "mistakes", I just don't like what they did in giving a few figures too many obnoxious "play features" while making other figures "statues" that are virtually non-articulated (Luminara and Shaak Ti jump to mind).

I also hate it when they put out a figure of something not in the movie (Geonosian with Massif, the preview astrodroid with the transparent dome).

I also hate that they rehashed the old Slave I mold rather than make a new one... in my opinion, that ship could have been at least 10% bigger in the new line, to reflect the true size in comparison to the Jedi Starfighter.

And speaking of Jedi Starfighter -- the headset on the Kenobi Pilot figure should have been removable...

Finally, I hate that they put out so many variations on one character (Jango or Anakin) while neglecting other characters altogether (Bail Organa, the Lars family, Lama Su, Poggle the Lesser, etc.).

OK, that's enough ranting for now...

Deluxe AOTC 3po is shorter than the first AOTC 3po.

-All of Hasbros Tie Fighters (Regular Ties) have had the cockpit way out of Scale in comparison to the Wings. The Cockpit is large to fit a figure, but they still should make the Wings Larger and Wider. They also have a peice which sticks out from the rear of the cockpit, which shouldant be there.

Back to the topic:

The Pilot Obi Wan`s headset surounds
his whole forehead which is wrong.
It should end between Obi`s eyebrows.

Actually it looks like he`s wearing Amidala`s headband from the fireplace confession scene.

I heard it was going to originally going to be labeled, Obi-Wan: Jedi Theif, but apparently it didn't pass the marketing committee.

That explains a lot. [face_shocked]

 

biggest mistake hasbro has ever made: Not supplying North Carolina with the figures the same time they supply the rest of the US with them. Seriously. We get figures like in small scant quantities that not even kids who get them to play with can have enough (shopping for a relative and myself, i couldn't even get him anything). Anyways, thats their biggest mistake. Not enough supply for the demand. Hasbro has created scalpers b/c of this.

 

^I didn't think the figure shortage was too bad in my part of NC - the only figure that i have never seen is Ephant Mon, but it seems like every one else in the country is having a somewhat difficult time finding this figure. I have seen every other figure at least 3 or 4 times at different stores.

I also work in a place where i can hit many different stores on my lunch break so i guess i am out and about more often and maybe that is the key to it.

 

I live in NY and all the stores me and my friends have gone to don't have the clone pilot or ephant mon, but have tons of the red clonetrooper, and pilot Jango.

 

The POTJ figure of the "old" Obi Wan (without cloak, from ANH) has young Obi Wan's saber.

 

POTJ "Final Duel" 2 Pack, the background is inserted upside down.

25th Silver R2 has backwards legs

Deluxe flipping Dooku has the metal "blade" part of the saber on the top vs. the bottom (one could also add since he is missing his cape, that is technically an error)
