I received an email this morning from my FLCS indicating that Diamond Comics had apparently experienced a hacking incident, which has delayed shipments of non-DC comics. Just an FYI in case your local shop didn't receive their shipment of comics this week. Mine said they expect theirs later in the week.

 

Further on the Diamond Comics hack, it was a ransomware attack.

It’s delayed again? The release date was supposed to be Nov 17. Now it’s been pushed by two weeks, just like the previous issue which was pushed by one. With #18 set to come out in Dec 1st (assuming they don’t push it again), there’s no way #19 will come out on Dec 8th as it’s currently listed to. I wonder what’s driving these continued and progressively longer delays? It can’t be the aforementioned ransomware attack, can it?

 

I'm not sure why the general delays of certain titles. They don't really make it public knowledge. It may be due to the ransomware attack. I'm seeing that the attack became known on Friday, November 5th so that's definitely going to cause ripples that will affect each and every week until they get everything straightened out.

Essentially, if your local shop doesn't have your book(s) on Wednesday, check back Friday.
