Local Meet - October 22nd 2005

OK, this is the meet thread for October. Please place agenda discussion items in here. Whilst we have a date confirmed for this meet, we need to arrange a location.

Some discussion was made last night in the car park (as seems to be the way with FF-UK:M ) and I made the offer of a Leicester meet this time. Again, a meal at a restaurant, with everyone invited back to crash at mine afterwards (cheaper beer than a pub!) as it's not a school night

So, fire away with ideas. The thread is sticky until 1 week after the event, so the minutes will be included here as well after the meet

 

Well you're the only one whose going to know the best places around Leicester

 

I could coincide this with returning your film stuff

I think the meet should take place between brimingham and leicester. then after that it can be birmaingham and worcester then birmingham and derby.

I have no problems traveling to Liecester or Worcester, I may have problems with the 'Crash at mine' bit but there you go. Verity does make a very good point though Phill, we'er in your hands as far as venue is concerned.

 

Spelling Leicester on the other hand...

well i don`t do kebabs (the Force only knows what`s in them things) and burgers i very rarely feel like eating (unless it`s a veggie one, but even then i have to build up to it).

pizza = cheap and lots of! just the ticket for a hungry drunk fellow.

22nd October eh? Two days after my 20th Birthday, although I can't come to this one because I can only afford maybe one more meet this year and I decided that it would be Veritys birthday meet. Enjoy it though

Pizza's good for me. Cheap, and you know you're in for a good meal -- plus, as Phill said, more boozing time!
