ok been at the odeon web page and according to the site, they aren't gonna have ice age on saturday....Does someone else wanna have a look in case I missed it ?

I cant even find a site for warner brothers cinema what other cinemas are there in LS?

UCI have it down in their schedules... whether or not the one in LS has it on Saturday is another matter...

Kensington high street is a bit of a mission to get to by tube. If you are meeting in Leicester square, it's a boring journey there by tube. On the other hand, the number 10 bus from Oxford street heading towards marble arch takes you there. Altenativiely the c30 hoppa takes you there I think. Also, the cinmea is not that good from what I remember. Never been to the odeon marble arch though.

Sorry guys, got to pull out. Work just laid the smackdown on me. Got stuff to deal with this weekend.

 

Odeon Marble Arch is a good cinema which is just a very short walk from the tube stop of the same name!
Also - as of 2000 (the last time I went there) it was a whole lot better priced than LS!

I'm still attending as far as I know (barring going to stay with the elves or somesuch! )
There is a Pizza Hut in the vicinity - haven't a clue about pubs but we can always 'commute' back to LS... just don't ask me how! I've forgotten!

@J... Marble Arch have Ice Age on for 2pm, shall we angle for that performance? I'll be arriving at Waterloo just after 1pm.

 

Odeon High St Ken is probably easiest to get to on the bus. Go to Hammersmith tube and get a bus going there. It should take you about 10 minutes from Hammersmith.

 

I thought we were going to get something to eat before we went to the movies so that gave Becky more time to get in?

well time we get from waterloo to somewhere like pizza hut in LS or oxford street eat and that I'd 4 would probably be better, and of course there be enough time to drink afterwards.

Sure, I'd love to see Ice Age but if the consensus is to go see it at 2pm - great and then I'll meet you later!

Though I am inclined to agree with J - organising one of these outings is like organising a herd of cats! Meaning that getting everyone together and to the cinema within the space of 1 hour... ain't gonna happen!!
