The LondonExpo show returns this October at the ExCeL Royal Victoria Dock. It's quite a varied show celebrating film, TV, comics, anime and more.
It takes place during the 28th-29th weekend.

but nonetheless.
he does lovely star wars pictures,one recent boba fett illustration in particular that i'm mercilessly ripping off.
he's renowned for extortionate prices for convention sketches,but who cares...
just to look at him,to see him in the flesh.
seriously,i'm damn close to orgasm on this.
for any aspiring illustrator-yes,lordtice,that means you!!!-this is a chance in a lifetime to meet a true giant,a god!
i need to go away and calm down a bit.

I went to the last one (in fact you can see the back of my head in the trailer. Losing at Yu-Gi Oh) They're awesome! Very anime related

Just a heads-up that Christopher Lee is now confirmed for the Saturday - hopefully I should be able to go. He's only signing his new CD though.....

 

Ooooh, not a bad guest announcement that. I'm not a fan of enforced items that can only be signed, but at £15 for a signed CD that's a pretty good deal.

However, the real draw for me is the Hot Fuzz promotion

How are things looking for folks attending?? I'm still not sure but I'm very much warming to the idea. Let me know who's a defo and we can at least think about a meet time and place

 

as it turms out,i can only do the sunday-my wifes gopt a big gig on the saturday and has invited a slew of her/our friends over so i can't make any excuses to not be around.

As it turns out I can only make Sunday now too. So if you're going on Sunday and wanna meet-up just post here and we'll ironing out a time and place. Assuming trains will be running okay I should be able to make this

Chris, the best way to the Excel centre is the Docklands Light Railway. The DLR stations 'Custom Palac' and 'Prince Regent' are right next to it. You can get the DLR from Bank tube station, which might be the easiest way as Bank is on the Central and Northern line.

I'm a maybe. i have tentatively arranged to go Geocaching, so londonexpo will be my back-up plan
