Looking for a super old fic. As I vaguely remember it, the story genre was somewhat horror/supernatural, and there was a young girl, pretending to be someone she actually wasn't, and she wreaks a path of destruction before delivering a more ominous interpretation of the Chosen One prophecy to Anakin. Anyone ever come across such a fic?

I second this request, sounds like something I would read.

 

Ugh, I'm trying to recall more details. I think the story starts out with a Jedi master and padawan being sent to a remote village to retrieve this Force-sensitive child they've heard about, but by the time they arrive, the village is destroyed. They come across the child who presumably survived and bring her back with them to the Jedi temple, but they later examine some records and realize the girl who came back with them doesn't match the profile originally sent. I feel like I read the story when it was posted on one of the SW forum boards, but it was definitely back before 2010...

 

This sounds like Burn! Burn! Burn! by oquidaun. It is a fantastic story so well conceived and as far as I know a part of a larger story cycle with other excellent stories, Sixty Sunrises and The Keeper of Secrets, extremely original that elaborate on the plot twists. Unfortunately I was unable to find them to read them entirely as there only seem to be bits of the story saved I would also love to read them if anyone can share a link or an archive location!

I looked for Oqidaun's Burn!Burn!Burn! - It doesn't appear to be archived on the Wayback machine, nor posted anywhere else I can find. You could PM her on here and see if she still has a copy, she hasn't been on since the end of December, but that's relatively recent and she might get back on.

HERE is the link to the truncated version here on the boards. It's pretty much unreadable since it's truncated, but it might at the very least let you figure out if that's what you were looking for.

Hi, sorry to bother, again, but where can I get good recommendations for fics dealing with Anakin Skywalker and things turning AU in some point of his history?

I just really want to read stories where either Anakin or Darth Vader change and turn good before the canon. During the Republic or the early days of the Empire.

Erin_21 Into the Archives should be a good read for you Unfortunately skygawker hasn't updated in a while, but I'm hoping she hasn't abandoned this fic because it's awesome.

 

Yes, I miss that story too. Unfortunately, according to her profile, skygawker hasn't even logged in since November.

EDIT: It's not abandoned! I found it on AO3, where a new chapter was posted last week. Hopefully she'll show up here with that chapter before too long.

 

I'm following it on fanfictionDOTnet and it was updated there, as well. It's a keeper.

 

Ahh, shoutout to jcgoble3 for reminding me to update it here. I'll go do that. Sorry for being so inactive around here, guys, I've been super busy for the past few months. But Archives is definitely not abandoned, and hopefully there won't be as long as a wait before the next chapter!

 

I'm looking for an older Legends fic called "Snow Day." It's about the Yavin 4 praxeum having a freak snowstorm. It features the Solo kids and the other YJK stars.
