I think it's amazing that you can loose so much. I'm going down very slowly, not more than 4lbs in a month, but I have lost around 2,5" around my waist.

I'm not counting calories though, but I try to keep to 30-40 carbohydrates for lunch and dinner on days when I'm not jogging or working out.

Thanks for this thread. I'm down 27 now. Personal goal is beyond the 30, but this interim target has helped keep me on track.

I'm at 171 lbs. currently and would like to go down to 155 or so. What's the most efficient way of accomplishing that?

Note: I've never dieted since before the past year or two, I've always been underweight, and now I'm a little overweight for the first time in my life. So this is all very new to me.

You'll be emaciated in no time! =D=

I am by no means a expert, but this is whats been working for me.

    DONT'S
    No hamburger
    No Ribs
    No Chops
No Potatoes ( you can have Sweet potatoes )
Limit Pasta if not cut it out totally.
    No Soda, Not even Diet.
    No sugar drinks at all.
    No eating after 7pm
    Dont Skip meals
    DO's

At LEAST 2hrs of Cardo a week.
Drink at least 6 Glass's of Water a day.
Eat 5 times a day . Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner and two snacks in between .
Make a Vegetable &/or a Fruit part of every time you eat.
Snack on Pickles ( 1 cal each )
Protein is your buddy. Do a surch of foods with lots of Protein.
Cheat. If you want something you know you cant have, Make one day a week a cheat day and eat it. Just don't go overboard.

Again, Im no expert , This is just whats been working for me.

I've found that counting calories always helped me when I was in a crunch to drop a few. I better get going too since we're about 2 months out now!

I'm not counting calories, but rather just carbohydrates. The body needs carbohydrates to funktion, so it's not a good idea to cut them completely, especially if you are excersising at the same time.

Also my best advice is to eat a big, healthy breakfast. When I went to dietary specialist I was stunned when he told me that I had to little for breakfast. Now I eat 1,5 portion of oatmeal with milk, a fruit and crisp bread sandwich, and I think it helps.

Also today I reached one of my interim goals when it comes to my waist circumference, I'm still not loosing much weight though so I guess I'm mor into the "transforming fat to muscles" phase.

I'm depressed, from 117 I went to 124, (Cries) After all this hard work, I don't get it. But I'm not giving up.
So the race starts again to loose the remaining numbers of my goal 115.
    9 pounds to go.

    Great work all.
Wish I'd seen this thread a while back but I will use it as inspiration for the next 4 weeks.
I've been needing to do a lockdown for a month to see if I can get past my current sticking point.
