[LOST] Give points to characters you like and take them from characters you don't like.

Okay, the game is resuming.

These are going to be the "emergency rules" for the remaining of the game or "Final Seven":

? You will no longer be able to add points, only subtract.
? No more characters are to be added at any point during this final round.
? You can post once every 7 turns or if two hours have passed with no other votes (write "time reset" in your post in this case).
? Copy the list from the most recent post. Remember to delete the previous poster's +/-. And be certain to edit your own post quickly if someone else has posted between the time you copied the list and posted your turn.
? If you think there's been many mistakes and/or plain cheating and you can post to vote (see the first bullet point above), just post "time out!" and the game will stop. Your next post has to be the corrected list and must also include your vote. If there's no consensus, PM an online JCC moderator and ask him/her to moderate. Be warned: abusing the timeout rule will be considered trolling and lead to your banning.
? When a character has no points left, he/she is eliminated.
? If drama resurfaces again the thread will get permanently locked and the instigators will get disciplined. Consider this a formal warning.

LOST contains a diverse ensemble of multifaceted, three-dimensionsal characters who provoke a wide range of reactions. Some people love characters that others hate. Thus, LOSTies are ideal for such a "points war" kind of game (as opposed to, say, SW characters who, let's face it, don't provoke near as much stimulating discussion). This isn't about which characters will survive (JP's thread), this is about characters you like, characters you don't like, and characters that bore the **** out of you.

This is mod-approved, mainly because this is basically LOST weekend with the finale and everything (go away, Tunick). It should be fun to see how characters do before and after the finale.

The game: Each character starts with 10 points. You copy and paste the list of the previous user (first poster, that means you're copy+pasting the OP's list), then you take away one point from a char and give that point to a different char on the list. At the bottom of your post, state what you've done. If you want, you can either take two points but give none or give two points but take none. So the bottom of each new post should look something like this: either [char a] -1 [char b] +1, OR [char a] -2, OR [char a] +2. Also, if you want, instead of giving and/or taking points, you can add a new char to the list. Obviously, then, the list might get a little big, so chars that don't get any point activity for a while will probably be dropped (although I'll keep a record of the points). Of course, anyone can return the char to the list at any time. New chars start with 10 points. Returning chars start with what they had before.

You can only change the list once every six posts (although this rule is subject to change). This includes adding a character. Only one character per add.

Sorry, I misunderstood. By 'change the list every 6 posts' I thought you meant 'add a character every 6 posts'. I didn't equate altering points as changing the list.

Yeah, it's there to prevent abuse. But there's been enough posts since your last that you can take those points away from Jack now.
