JCC ***LOTR SURVIVAL BATTLE*** WINNER *BALIN LORD OF MORIA* [A Fourth Age Begins]

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us, so let’s squander it with another classic JCC survival battle. We’ve done Star Wars, we’ve done the MCU, and we’ve done GoT (suck it HotD).

Now fine people is the time for LOTR.

The rules: For those unfamiliar with survivor battles, they are extremely silly things where characters have points and you get to add points to those characters or take them away. All characters will start with 10 points and each time you change the list you will have 2 points to distribute (your options being +2, -2, +1 -1, +1 +1, -1 -1). All you have to do is copy and paste the list posted by the last person to change it, make your changes, and then announce what you did. You may change the list once every five turns, meaning four people have to change the list before you can change it again (this could be changed, depending on how fast the game moves). You may also use your turn to add a character.

Adding characters: Everyone may add a character with their first turn if they wish, but after you add your first character you may only add another character once every five turns, meaning four people have to change the list before you can add again. If the list gets really unwieldy we may have a character cap.

Character eligibility: Basically any character from any of Tolkien’s books, Peter Jackson’s films, or Bezos’ TV show.

The end game: At some point the game will wind down and we will switch to the end game. The rules are the same, except adding characters and +2 and +1, +1 posts will no longer be allowed.

Additional notes: All added characters begin the game with 10 points. I will update the character/dead lists periodically.

You can scoff, Cor. But you know as well as I do that you’re currently in up to your neck, and will most likely be doing a large portion of the heavy lifting when this really kicks off.
