Emilie, I went on hiatus for 19 months. For the first few months, I had faithfuls keeping my stories up, for which i am truly grateful, but by the time I got back, half of the people had defected to a new fandom, others got fed up with the prepubescent backbiting here, and then there's the matter of all of my apprentices except one stubborn one got made mods. So everyone was very busy and I had to build a whole new fan base.
