Who was a big fan of Bonanza.

Well, with apologies to everyone here for what I’m about to post.

I kind of suspect that the Boba show is going to set him up in the underworld to fill the Talon Karrde role for whatever Dave has planned with Thrawn.

    Sorry again.

It's possible to have heard of RPGs and know nothing about them, ya know. It doesn't even matter, anyway. The POLITE thing to do would have been to just explain what a GM was, but no, you had to be a dick. Never speak to me from now on. Just put me on ignore. And that goes for your friend who liked the above post too.

It's lazy and worthless. The only exception is Gandalf because he's a maiar.

Yeah of all the "dead characters who came back", Maul is the dumbest and if I had to pick an order for leaving them dead, he's top. Followed by Palps, then Boba.

    OK.

Oh ****, sorry. Sorry. I just spoke. Drat.

I won't speak to you ever again.

    I promise.

Oh christ. I'm so sorry. I keep doing this.

OK starting now, I won't speak to you again.

(I can't make promises for that friend, though.)

Oh see, now... I've just gone and spoken to you after I said I wouldn't! Oh this is going very poorly indeed.

It's great that the guy who corrects everyones grammar is very concerned how polite people are to him.

Is Darth Philosopher the friend who also can't talk to you, @Jean-Luc Picard? I'll tell him if so.

    Good episode of Bad Batch

Cool to see a Dionaga, lurking in garbage water as we've seen before.

I do find it odd that Rex, who has been declared dead & is trying to be off the radar, walks around in his full Clone Trooper armour as if no-one will notice.

Impressive how easily a crazed Wrecker tears through the entire squad and Rex until Omega distracts him long enough he can be stunned. He certainly was a ticking time bomb.

Hopefully things will accelerate now that the Empire knows where they are.
Fennec or Crosshair should show up again soon, the show needs a good antagonist

Except for ep4 this show seems to have episodes that are not amazingly interesting until the very end. In the case of ep8:

Cad bane shows up, quick-draws on Hunter, and stuns Omega. Possibly hired by the Kaminoans?

Wrecker's love for destruction is going a bit too far. I understand the trope of the good-hearted giant who enjoys smashing things, but the orgasm he has when even simply seeing a bomb is getting awkward at this point.

Plus the casual thing of just hurling what is basically a nuclear warhead at someone to knock them over.
Seems a bit risky & excessive.

Overall though I thought it was a much better episode, apart from the literal plot armour moment.

cool to see Cad Bane back. I was hoping this show would be able to do something with characters like him who were left in the void when TCW got cancelled and their storylines were unresolved.

I'm wondering if Filoni is actually confirming a long standing fan theory in this episode after Hunter survives a direct shot to the chest from Bane.
It has been suggested that most troopers don't actually die from being shot, the armour simply absorbs the hit and incapacitates them for a time. It can't straight up deflect it like Mandalorian armour because it's not strong enough, but it can disperse enough impact around the suit to not make a shot fatal.

If that's not the case, Hunter surviving makes no sense since as far as we know CF99 wears the same armour type as any other Clone Trooper

I mean not really. He does wear commando armour. So it can’t really be said to ‘make no sense.’

You have to apply and pay for a star. They just don’t give those away, there is an approval process and the usual Hollywood pomp and circumstance. Carrie didn’t really seem like someone to beg for approval especially in her later years. My guess is this is being done by her family/loved ones.

    Earlier in the episode the

Kaminoan Prime MInister said their hope was one of the Bounty Hunters find and bring back Omega. So it's 99% he was hired by them
