"Filoni is a genius" is such a hyperbolic statement that if a poster I knew nothing about said it I'd genuinely think they are being sarcastic.

It's like saying "Twilight is a masterpiece". There is a non zero chance that whoever says it actually thinks it, but if I had to bet I'd bet on joking.

 

I will attribute this to the sarcastic nature of the thread.

I truly and wholeheartedly absolutely love every single thing that Filoni has created. Zero hyperbole.

I just want to say, Anakin is C-3PO's father, and I'm tired of people pretending he's not.

 

Let us not give Filoni too much credit for Mandalorian.
Favreau writes most of it, it's really his thing that Filoni has used to absorb his Rebels sequel ideas.

And remember Filoni did make Resistance.

 

That’s my real problem with Filoni. I think he gets far to much credit for both TCW and Mandlaorian. Rebels was his creation. At least the first 2 seasons. But for TCW and especially Mando he gets far far to much credit. Does he deserve some? Yes but people talk about him way more than they do Jon.

 

I remain appalled by the fact that so few people notice the clear drop in quality in the script when Filoni writes the episode.

I could tell Filoni's episodes from the others just by how clumsy the dialogues sound and I couldn't do that for anyone else.

Ahsoka should have died on twilight of the apprentice. I like the character. Not as much as some people but she isn’t s a fine character but I think it would have just been amazing if Vader had been the one to kill her. I just don’t think Filoni has the guts to kill off his favorite characters. I am sure if he could he would find a way to bring back plo Koon.
