Games Mad Libs Fun!

Mad Libs (involving situation or characters)

Rules:
1) 5 players sign up.

2) Host posts in game thread elements (parts of speech) to be PMed to the host by all players except the judge, to fill in blanks relating to a situation or characters. The interval is 24 hours.

3) In roster order, each player takes turn being the judge.

4) Once received, the resulting sentences are posted in the thread.

5) The judge selects the most original/funniest in the game thread. and posts his/her choice in the game thread.

6) The one whose submittal is chosen gains 4 points.

7) This cycles through the entire roster. Winner gains 48 hours of colors.

8) TOS applies.

Example: An ESB situation where Luke's X-wing disappears into the swamp.
Supply a sentence showing Luke's reaction which includes:
a verb
a noun
another noun
an adverb.

A submittal by a player might read: "Luke sighed as his drum vanished beneath the whipped cream and said sloppily: Now what?"

I'm not sure I like the idea of being first. It's been about 30 years since the last time I did anything with Mad Libs.

 

Being first means likely you'll be a judge for the first set.

 

Ok. So how do we begin?

Situation 1. ANH -- Luke really is crushing on Camie, comes up with all kinds of excuses to go to Tosche Station.

@Ahsoka's Tano is the judge. Everyone else send in a sentence with the above elements. It does not have to be an actual event in "A New Hope," you can just create something based off what you know of the characters/timeframe.

@WarmNyota_SweetAyesha I have to come up with the entire sentence or just the parts of speech that you'll be filling into a sentence you've already have?

 

I have a series of broad scenarios so you can come up with a sentence that fits the ANH + Luke + some mention of Camie &/or Tosche Station.

* But uncle!, splattered Luke. I really need to go to Tosche Station for some unholy business. My sandwiches are expecting me. I need to show up before Camie, otherwise I'll have to buy the first round of sticky beers.

* Luke went splunking into Tosche Station to pick up minty grasshoppers as he enjoyed the crustlike texture of their feet.

* Luke ran toward Tosche Station before he was intercepted by a few Tusken Raiders who would try to stop him from seeing Camie’s pretty curly hair.
