Atlantic Major event next Saturday...

WHO'S GOING TO THE ROLLING STONES CONCERT? I am! I hope somebody from the ACG is also going. There must be some out of the 85,000 that are going.

 

I'm going.

So, anyone in Moncton have a backyard I can tent in? A driveway where I can park my car and sleep? A hotel? I'm kinda S.O.L. right now...

 

No! I'm SUPER jealous though! I'd go to see the Hip and Maroon 5 more than the Rolling Stones though.

 

Although it would be kinda fun I am not going to the rolling stones.

 

...I just hope it doesn't rain on Sat. We're not allowed to bring in umbrellas.

 

The Stones were absolutely AMAZING!!! I don't think I'll ever see show that will compare to that!!!

However, it was a disaster area trying to get home.

 

URGH! You're so lucky!! It looked freakin' awesome from what I saw in the Herald the next day!!

 

Yeah the Herald had some good pics. The rules stated that we weren't allowed to bring in cameras. However, I saw a lot of people get by the gate with disposable cameras. Grrr!!! I would have loved to have brought a camera.

 

I heard that the concert went really well. I am kinda sad that I missed it, no matter. I am glad you had a good time.

DB - what was it like being there with that many people?

 

It was like wall to wall people. I wasn't too far from the stage and I'd look behind me and all I would see was a sea of faces. I've never been in a crowd that size. It was amazing!

 

that was an unbelievable concert
but as you said, the time spent getting out wsa ridiculous, and i wsa juist staying down the road in Irishtown. it took 2 hours just to get out of the parking lot

 

Kind of like War of the Worlds without the aliens.
