Unfrotunatly, I do not have a card for you today.... here's the story:

I was making the card:

It was going well:
The computer froze for no reason:
I had forgotten to save:
I was mad:
No card for today:

That's about it.... *sigh*

Will have the DS half of the cardlist later. Note, this is only the beginnings. One of the main points of this set is to 'expand the universe' with several sites from each planet. But the other point is some cool characters and starships and stuff.... yeah....

Also, if anyone could photoshop a couple of planet pics for this set, that'd be great, as there are gonna be a lot of planets from this set. Black and White pics of each of these planets can be found in The Essential Guide To Planets And Moons.

 

Sure looks like you've got quite a few locations there, Mamow! With respect to your list, what do the * represent?

They represent uniqueness dots. I tried to make them actual dots, but this forum's browser won't show it for some reason...

 

Your list is a bit depressing for me, kinda shows how I haven't been keeping up with the expanded universe given a lot of the cards listed aren't familiar to me.

Unfortunatly, my computer has been freezing at an alarming rate. I'm due for a new computer in a month, and it looks as if I'll have to wait til then to do anything. I should have a massice cardlist when I get back though!

 

Bummer, Mamow. Sounds like a software issue. Perhaps a reinstall on your system software might correct the problem, or if you happen to have Norton Utilities... it might help with directory issues. I'm not a window's person, so can't offer any specific help.

So many cool possibilities from the books with respect to cards. Trying to find images, however, might be pretty tough. Seems a lot of the images would need to be digitally altered in an image editing program. Would be nice to have the services of "Lucasfilm" to help! Geesh...would it be easier!

Well, you may have noticed that I've not been updating lately. Why? Well, my computer has completly crashed, so I won't be able to post anything until I get a new one (just one week... finally...). Anyway, when that time comes expect everything to be back in full swing.

 

We've noticed. Hurry back! Hopefully you haven't lost all your files when the old computer went "belly up".

where did you get the names on this list, anyway? I've read most of the books up to Vector Prime (sniff...Chewie, we hardly knew ya) and I've never heard of most of 'em. Are they from the Vong stories??

lol, I've got it already, but I still need to recover my blanks and other image files from my old computer through my network... which should happen sometime this weekend.

 

Heeeeyyyy Momaw! I normally don't like fantasy cards, but I like yours because of the "different" choices. Far more interesting. Could someone possibly get you a screen capture to make more Christmas Special characters. I'd love to have a card of Bea Arthur and also the Holeheaded guy from the Cantina. Also, how about Spaceballs characters? If anyone can contribute images, please do.

Ah'm back with a new card! Added Deep Sea Sando Aqua Monster to my Expanded Universe section.

Also, if anywone who has the New Essential Guide to Characters could scan a piccie of Bevel Lemelisk so that I could start Quest's card. It'd be much appreciated (scanner is broken).
