Lg.Is, NY Man Robs Setauket Bank While Wearing Darth Vader Mask

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Suffolk County police are investigating a robbery at a Setauket bank by a man wearing a Darth Vader costume.

    Police say the man entered a Chase Bank branch located at 4080 Route 347 around 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning, displayed a gun and demanded cash from the teller.

    The teller complied by giving the man an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the scene.

    Police describe the suspect as 6?0 -6?2?? tall. He was last scene wearing the Darth Vader mask, a blue cape and camouflage pants.

    Detectives are asking anyone with information to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
