I'm sad that our second game isn't until tomorrow. What am I supposed to do today, though?!

Have to say, as great as it was winning yesterday (in spite of Joachim Soria coming back to the team... To give up 3 runs in the 8th, which we don't do dude, you were terrible and Hochevar may have to take that inning instead)... I agree with Ned Yost that it was a little awkward having the Mets there for all the ceremonial stuff. And tomorrow we get our rings in front of them. It kind of makes it seem like we're rubbing it in, which isn't the case. We would be partying no matter who we were playing.

But it's not like I hate the Mets, even if I did really want to beat them and enjoyed them falling short again

Partly you just want to make it clear that the WS wasn't a fluke. There's a good reason the Royals beat the Mets.

I hated RTTS because by the time my player got to the majors Derek Jeter was playing shortstop for the Brewers and Clayton Kershaw was the Astros' opening day starter.
