    Bam, Michael Ironside.

Is he just the "religious nut"? I thought he was leader of the opposition to the Ori.

    Michael Ironside.

Seaquest, Scanners, Total Recall, Starship Troopers, ER, but even he says that his most recognizable role is Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell series.

I'll always know him from SeaQuest 2032 and Starship Troopers the most (then again, I've never really played more than a demo of the Splinter Cell series).

He's pretty prolific in an "oh thats who that is" sort of way.

He's doing a lot of voice over work too. He definitely has the voice for it. You may also recognize him as Darkseid from Justice League and Superman.

"Everyone fights, no one quits. You don't do your job, I'll kill you myself."
"I need a corporal. You're it, until you're dead or I find someone better. "

Well I have to say that the first of this two parter was a disappointment. But the build up this episode made was pretty cool. I can't wait for next week. Hopefully we'll be fighting these Ori soldiers a lot more in season 10.

Cool new ship from Atlantis though.

    [face_laugh] [face_laugh] :_|

Loved it. Not all the way through it yet (thank you TiVo but they need to fix the season pass). I just got to the part where Vala is telling them about her pregnacy coming about through...unusual means.

Vala: "have you ever heard of anything like this"
    Mitchell: "There is one"
    Teal'c: "Darth Vader"
Vala: "Really, how did that turn out"

I had to rewind it a couple of times to make sure I heard it right.

[face_laugh] um..... Not well Vala. Not well.[face_laugh]

And I had forgotten that Teal'c has now been on Earth long enough to have seen the prequels. Wouldn't that qualify Teal'c for American naturalization?

I think thats all Teal'c does now. Sit around and watch movies. Old School, Starship Troopers, and SW.

Sooner or later he'll start posting here.

Now there's a thought. I wonder how many celebs not affliated with SW have posted on these boards over the years.

Maybe we'll see some VIP'd if they come out of hiding.:)

I know of one but I don't know if he technicaly counts as a celeb as much as a person on TV and I don't think he has posted much since he's been busy with the show and what not.

Oh, that rocks! Haven't seen that yet, but even without O'Neill, the series can give us the occasional laugh. Look forward to seeing that one.

Very good ep last night- more Vala is always good, and I like how her character has evolved based upon what she has had to do to survive in the Ori galaxy. That Vader line was great too. I also liked the aspect of how the Tok'ra, Asgard and Jaffa are on the lookout for the Supergate- really hits home the sense of us and our allies working together and how far we've come since the show's start.

Awesome episode last night. Loved how they changed Vala's character in a way that made sense.

In unrelated news did anyone catch Carter's reference to Kawoosh the largest SG music vid site on the net? Thought it was a beautiful way to recognize the SG vidding community.

    Changed her character?

Seemed like same old Vala to me. She's done what she's had to and we've seen a different side of her but I didn't really see how they changed her character.
