I think a Mara Jade could work with the new canon.

We know that in the dark times era Inquisitors were under orders to kidnap force sensitive children. Maybe Palpatine wanted more lesser force user allies once the Inquisitors served their purpose. Ones who were never raised in a Jedi Temple, but in the empire.

If Mara Jade is one of those children, that would also put her close to Luke's age in post RoTJ material.

What if once rumors of Palpatines survival arrived Mara feared for little Rey and tried to hide her on Jakku with help from another man, not Luke who did not believe in the old emperors survival, and both ending up in paupers graves were not her parents but a parent and another man who helped hide her, a friend like Kyle Katarn, Karrde or else.

I mean, she’ll probably never be made into canon because she’s too tightly connected with the Skywalkers....but damn, this whole thing sounded like an episode from it’s Always Sunny in Batuu.

 

The level of fan dedication to make a decal and paste it in a bathroom is pretty great.

 

Mara Jade, who she Jar jar's cousin, I know of her and that Zahn would love to reintroduce her into canon, but that is not gonna happen. Most likley she gets her force powers taken away from her and she's just a lonely bounti hunter and never meets the skywalkers.

 

So, did uh, Tim Zahn visit Galaxy's Edge any time recently? Is he our culprit for this Mara Jade graffiti?

 

Now I don't want to know what Zahn/Thrawn could infer from toilet stall graffitti art analysis...
