The plot needs to be done before the thread is made. It'll take a little while. That can be the topic for tonight, if anybody minds?

It can be, if everyone likes that. Actually, that works pretty nicely.


I am the Queen of Plot Bunnies, after all. I do have a SW/LotR crossover idea, if anyone wants to hear it.

Liz, pardon me, but my beta reader instincts are kicking in. Could you do me an eensy weensy little favor to ease my mind in regards to the thread title?


Actually, it's just a concept. I got the idea when I realized that Count Dooku and Saruman were played by the same actor (Christopher Lee).

Basically, instead of being killed at the end of Episode III like everyone expects, Dooku just sort of disappears when he realizes that Darth Sidious wants him dead in exchange for Darth Vader. He somehow disappears into the world of LotR, and becomes Saruman the White Wizard. (I'd prefer to have time in these worlds be a la Chronicles of Narnia, where two worlds have their own times, and an entire age in one world could be only a lifespan in the other)

Somehow, some reason, our heros of SW find some records about this. (Possibly while Luke and Leia are researching about their parents? Padme' had a lot to do with Count Dooku...)

Somehow (that's what YOU all have to think up) Luke, Leia, Mara, Han, and the Solo kids end up at the beginning of FotR. (I'd also like this to be pre-NJO, so as not to complicate things. Mara won't have to worry about being sick and we still have Anakin and Chewie-two extra characters for whoever wants to play them.)

Basically, it's FotR with SW characters added into the mix.

I petition to play Mara. I think I can do a good job, if you all will let me.

Actually, I wasn't even thinking about Luke when I asked to be Mara. I was thinking about how Mara would react to the folks from LotR.

There is only one male Jedi Master from Corellia that I can think of around the time of the Clone Wars, which is actually before Mara was born, isn't it. But his name is Neeja Halcyon. If he were Mara's father, she'd be Corran's aunt!!! No wonder they are so alike!
