Yep, I'm actually going to R...J's house to watch the big game tonight. I hear he has a 40" screen. Should be fun--especially if Goliath crushes David.

 

Almost time for tip off...I'm excited.

I have been incommunicado for the Final Four and championship game the last two (maybe three, I don't remember for sure) years. Let's go Butler Bulldogs!

 

Butler up two! With as bad as they started offensively that's fantastic.

I'd hate to think how far Butler would be ahead right now if Howard could hit any shot from point blank range. He's missed about four, or five of them.

 

You're forgetting that Duke is shooting terrible as well. Especially from the free throw line.

Ugly first half, come on Duke in the second half!

 

I'm both worried and optimistic that Duke has been so bad from three. I don't know if it's Butler's harassing D, or they were just cold. If it's the former, it could keep up all game. If it's the latter, I'd expect them to heat up in the second, and that could be trouble.

 

Zoubek and Thomas need to get going on the boards...

EDIT: can Duke buy a call in this? Doesn't look like it...

 

Duke fans cannot cry about lack of calls. I'm sorry, R...J. They can't.

Especially when I see that edit after the bad call on the "charge"

 

Ugh, I want to watch the end of this but the lack of volume is killing me.

 

The charge was a make up for what should have been a charge when they called a block on Zoubek (even the Butler fan here admitted that)

Also, even he has admitted that Butler's gotten away with a lot of reaches.

 

The game, in general, has been reffed very loosely. They haven't called a lot of things they could have called.

Duke loses a fair amount of players next year......Butler only loses two or three. I wonder which one might be back next year?
