That's the only* Epic Collection left to be announced at this moment, as near as I can tell

*There are plenty of Tales stories and similarly short vignettes uncollected, so there could be at least one more for that kind of stuff.

The kids' comics for Clone Wars (both series) are also still uncollected, apparently due to rights issues.

I left a comment on the youtube video asking Omar if the Storms of Crait issue could be added, I'll post here if he responds.

Really good for this to be announced - sounds like Gillen's run did a lot of interesting stuff.

It wouldn't shock me if Marvel adds it in, and it also wouldn't shock me if they have a plan for a "Star Wars Omnibus Companion" (or some other title) that would feature Storms of Crait along with the Han Solo, Chewie, Lando, and Leia minis, the Age of Rebellion one-shots, and anything else that broadly fits in there.

Just hope the price point is RRP $125, as RRP $150 is showing up more and is on a few upcoming Legends omnibuses.

£32 seems to be the price point for digital versions still.

I can't see any way to justify hiking a digital price, but if they could, they would.

Just had a reply from Omar on his Q&A live stream about the Storms over Crait one shot being in the omnibus. He said When he gets back from japan he is going to do a sunday live stream where we can give surgestions on things that could be added or moved in upcoming omnibus and he will pass it on to marvel.

The main thing about digital comic prices seems to be an agreement to keep them in line with print comics. However, this only seems to apply to single issues.
Collections seem to be allowed to be offered @ less than retail. Epic collections seem to be around £20, but omnibuses @ £32 are really great value - they are just so flipping big in file size though.
Once I have one of those loaded on my iPad, which, granted, only has 128 Gb as it’s old, it really starts to struggle.

[face_laugh] Wow, even digitally, the weight of omnibuses is still felt.

It all adds up but found it funny too.

I'm collecting the last legends collection which has the last set of issues from the original Marvel run that includes 108. After that I'm not going to collect the rest because I have the individual issues and the Dark Horse collections. But there is something magical being able to get the individual issues and re-read them as they came out as opposed to reading them collected. The only exception I'll make on that is the big omnibus collecting the entire Marvel run with pizzazaz, the ewoks and droids run. Those volumes together along with the special newspaper editions which someone else did truly complete my enjoyment of star wars in the OT era. It was a time of fun and the stories kept on moving. To me no matter how hokey some of the stories may seam they are unmatched in time and quality.

I have to admit I surprised that Ajax-Sigma is opposed to the scourge droid thing instead of being behind it. Pleasantly so, star wars has done the droid revolutionary mind controlling other droids things a fair bit, refreshing to see one (rather logically) opposed to that kind of thing.

I don't know about you guys but I am ready for a new ongoing series that isn't called High Republic.

We haven't gotten a new ongoing outside of High Republic material for about three years now.

I imagine we'll have to wait until the post RotJ period for those though.

They can't do a Vader post RotJ ongoing so will be interesting to see what they come up with to replace that.

Can't say I'd class a pair of 12 and 10 issue series as ongoing. Especially with the numbers the OT ongoings have racked up.

Yeah I thought about saying something about the larger minis we have gotten. But they really were just larger minis (IMO).

Considering we have gotten as many issues from the mainline, Vader, and Aphra as we have that doesn't really seem like much.

Will also be interesting if they do a third Aphra ongoing. Aphra is a fun character to read about but I feel like it might be time for the characters ongoing days to be done for awhile and she can just pop in periodically from time to time in other series.

Who am I kidding. Aphra is Marvels baby. We will get ongoings for her for the next twenty years.
