I'm still waiting on an interviewer to ask if Batroc the Leaper is still alive. He needs to be around more, getting shot ain't gonna kill him, maybe just tick him off some more.

 

Haven't you heard, there's a dead-or-alive bounty on Batroc. They're offering some fries if he's dead, or if you bring him in alive you get a baguette.

 

This is gonna be golden for a quite a while.

Can anybody explain why Sharon led the guys to the mad scentist making the serum, and his lab, if she was the Power Brocker? He has her golden goose, and she led three foxes to him, what did she think was going to happen?

Also, why did she not just call of the bounty hunters, or used underlings to take them out while the guys was inside? She had no reason to fight alone since they could not see her breaking her cover story.

 

She probably figures it’s better to have the scientist dead (and the formula destroyed) than let the “good guys” (excluding Zemo) get the serum. Also, if ratting out the scientist means she can get back onto American soil and cause more havoc on the inside (a la Zola with Hydra inside S.H.I.E.L.D.), it’s probably worth that loss to her. Not forgetting how the Flag Smashers were already tripping up, so if Sharon could distance herself from all this for her further gain, why not?

As far as using bounty hunters to take the trio out: the Power Broker clears the playing field of any competition and moves suspicion away from her.

Emmy’s are so different from the Oscars. TV is sooooo excited to get movie theater level shows to throw awards at. Good for TV for being in touch with what viewers are actually watching.

 

I actually hope Cheadle wins because A) freakin' War Machine B) his speech would be amazing cuz even at his nomination he had no idea why he got it.

I think it has something to do with "oooh, look, a big time movie star is slumming it on TV" residual feeling that Emmy awards may still hold on to or something.
