I wonder what that huge moment is about. When he finally accepts the shield or some other moment.

 

I wonder if Zemo is going to activate Bucky again. Although that would imply that Shuri missed something de-bugging him which doesn't seem likely. Keep thinking Zemo would try the "longing rustic daybreak" on Bucky and Bucky just pops him. I would totally be okay with Zemo re-brainwashes him from scratch though.

 

i wonder if they'll flesh Zemo out a little better . I found him a little hard to believe in Civil War.

 

I'm hoping this doesn't happen. The character's been through enough trauma, let's move him past the WS repeat and keep working towards Bucky Barnes.

 

Zemo trying and then Bucky unleashing a can of whoop ass on him would be fun though.

Buck is toying with whup ass on Zemo 20-23 seconds

 

The C-130 shows up a lot clearer in this teaser, it's definitely an H model (manufactured from '64 to '96) with some external equipment we didn't have on our trash-haulers (probably gee-whiz special-ops sensors and counter-measures). At about 18 seconds when Sam is going out the back of the plane, at the top of the screen the elevators are very obviously positioned full down. That means that either the plane was doing some very severe maneuvering, nosing over so hard that any loose gear or people would get slammed up into the ceiling... or else they filmed it with the plane parked on the ground and green-screened in the blue sky background. So far that's the only nitpick I've found to complain about. Please, don't screw up my Herkybird!

 

Nice to see Seb's knife skills are still on display...

 

Really excited for this series, this and She-Hulk are the ones I'm feeling most excited about, and I feel like this could run for a while. Also be good to see Sharon, Zemo, and Batroc back again.

I feel like Barnes is the character that most needs fleshing out, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he deals with his history and trying to move past the WS phase of his life.

Semantics

 

^ Definitely an H-model C-130, with VHF radio antennas on the sides of the vertical stabilizer instead of the old-fashioned longwire antennas that used to run from just behind the flight deck diagonally back and up to the top of the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer, and standard chaff/flare launchers on the trailing edges of the external fuel tank pylons. Propellers are T'ed (turned so that each propeller's #1 blade is straight up and no oil seeps out the vent hole) so the plane has probably been parked overnight; we don't bother to T the props for short stops. When they get ready to start engines, the crew chief should X the props, turn them 45 degrees so we can be sure the propeller brakes are disengaged and we'll have clean starts.

It's like somebody at Marvel is reading my posts and throwing out C-130 tidbits to keep me interested.

That's a 1964 C-130E, tail #40499, assigned to 43rd Airlift Wing, Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina when the photo was taken. The artwork on the nose is a griffon insignia, which was painted on all the 43rd AW's planes. My very first combat mission to Baghdad in December '03 was in a Pope 130 just like that one, tail # 1259. Eventually, there was a command reshuffle and the unit in charge of Pope AFB became the 23rd TFW, which was the direct descendant of the American Volunteer Group better known as the Flying Tigers during WW2, and they painted shark mouths on all their planes. The shark mouth looks great on WW2 P-40's, not bad on the A-10 Warthog attack plane, kinda weird on the F-16, but really dumb on the C-130. Thank God that didn't last long. Anything else you'd like to know, just ask.
