USA really should build a wall against Europe, those European are stealing jobs from hard working American actors.

 

Looking forward to Jessica Henwick, aka Jessika Pava from the Force Awakens, as Colleen Wing.

 

Still trying to get used to that facial hair. Apart from that though, looks good to me.

 

Too bad I don't have Netflix. That looks cool though. Saw that quick flash of the Steel Serpent tat.

I like the look of some of those fights - some nice flowing moves.

Review embargo has lifted. Reactions so far have been overwhelmingly negative.

 

I haven't read the reviews yet, but heard slightly different -- that it's relatively positive for the show/story, and overwhelmingly negative for Finn Jones specifically?

EDIT: Ah, nope, yeah the later stuff I'm finding is pretty all-around negative (at least for the first... half? Little more than half? of the season)...

 

Yeah, I'm reading that it's bad, period.

 

One to binge in one. Like ripping a band aid off.

Upon reflection for me, of the four series so far, Daredevil season one is the best. It's been a downward trend since then.

 

I liked the strong woman who fought mind control guy.

 

We loved Jessica Jones moreso than Daredevil (season 1), but that's like a choice between Ghostbusters and Back To The Future* -- they're both amazing, so you're really just splitting hairs.

* = sorry, heels, you just won't understand this reference, whomp whomp...

 

Me too. Slightly less than Daredevil. Then the downward line became steeper.

Most of the poor reviews say the series is boring. One review stating that they were six episodes in and still bored. I am somewhat surprised by these reviews considering Iron Fist would allow for a good origin story along the lines of Batman Begins and Doctor Strange in that the main character find themselves in the far east to begin their journey into becoming a hero.

Despite the bad reviews, I'll be binge watching as much as I can when it's released and finish the series.

 

I'm shocked to see it's been overwhelmingly negative, but at the same time I'm not surprised. I loved daredevil seasons 1/2, but JJ ended up being meh. I loved the first half but there was way to much stupidity in the second half, and the show lost focus on Jessica and Kilgrave, and focused on the abysmal side characters. Luke Cage I was enjoying for the first three episodes, but the fourth took the wind out of the sales, and ruined the pacing to the point I haven't continued with the show yet. It's certainly been a downward trend.

 

Oh, yeah, this sounds like a train wreck so far -- though it's only half the season. It might get itself all the way up to BvS though...
