    Good responses, KD. I especially liked Too many of them know nothing about us but the information they pick up off badly researched holoprograms. For some reason, I keep thinking Pirates of the Carabbean with a Jedi twist!

    And his non-complaint about the food service staff - he's right about being saddled with fixing it. LOL/

    Great job.

    I believe we should move back to bring the Order more in line with doing the will of the Force rather than the will of the Senate or the Council. Love that!

    I believe that each Jedi must follow the will of the Force. And if the Force wills you to follow your heart so be it??? Hmmm???? :D

    Mmmmmm, Jedi of the Mon Calamari... sounds intriguing. LOL!

    Great job on the survey KD!!

    I too especially loved Qui-Gon's muttering aside ;)

    Just thinking it's almost March shouldn't it be time for a new challenge? This other one hasn't had as much response as the others so perhaps it's time to move on to something else as the challenges are open ended. Thoughts anyone?

    7) long hair challenge
    8) Evil Qui
    9) Qui trying to pick his first padawan
    10) Qui doing something that earns or furthers his label of rogue
    11) picture round-robin
    12) day in the life (alternate lifestyle for Qui)
    13) day in the life of Jedi Qui
    14) Undercover Qui
    15) Qui-Gon realizes that he's getting older
    16) drabbles exactly 100 words.
    17) Jinn goes native
    18) childhood Qui-Gon

    I'm partial to rogue Qui or getting older (boy, can I sympathize with that one :p)

    Hmmm, any of the challenges are fine by me. Nothing jumps out at me at this point.

    For some reason, I suppose it was the nom in the Golden Globes, I thought Liam was nommed for an Oscar.. I was very disappointed not to get to see him walk the red carpet. :( Though Johhny (Depp) and Orli (Bloom) were nice to behold.

    No, it didn't get munched. But female_obi_wan felt that she wasn't around enough to keep it up so Layren started a new thread with her permission/agreement/etc.

    Qui-Gon has been known as the one of the greatest swordsman in the last 400 years. Do you think he always had a natural aptitude or do you think he had to work hard to overcome clumsiness/shyness/whatever?

    I always thought that being the big guy he was, he had a hard time growing into his long limbs, so I saw him being a bit on the clumsy side and needing a bit of help. The first fic I wrote here was one that dealt with his learning to become comfortable with his body...

    Remember should you peek this was long before we Knew that Yoda was not Qui-Gon's master and Dooku was. :D

    As far as being shy... I had seen a young Qui-Gon being a bit distant from others due to knowing his Living Force aptitude was not common and pictured him uncomfortable with how he sensed.. 'felt' things as the whole code "There is no emotion..."

    Just started Ancient Lessons Poor, poor gangly Qui, just getting used to his long arms and legs. That's wonderful!

    Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. I'm getting better slowly! It's been a rough cold/flu season this year.
