Comings and Goings
-DVeditor stepped down as SFF manager to take on Tracy's Icons post
-ObiWan506 returned a married man to the MS as our third partner in crime.
-malkieD2 was on limited time in the past month
-Moleman has decided to leave the cave July 7-10

Games
-Son_of_the_Suns is running a Greatest Episodes of Sci-Fi and Fantasy Tournament. Feel free to cast your vote.
-Jedi_Master_Conor continues to host the SFF Trivia Challenge. The game is now at Question 8

Administration
-If a mod is going to be away and unable to access the JC at all, they will be going green for that time. Please contact another SFF mod if you need assistance.

Banners
-Expect some occassional SFF banners in the future to promote releases of films. Expect the first to occur this month.

Are we allowed to say "Nice Update" here? This looks like a cool idea, I assume there will be monthly SFF updates? Tomorrow should be pretty cool.

 

Every other month or so since not much happens round these parts. ...and what's tomorrow.

Great idea! This new POTC banner is very nice.

Will the concept expand into promotion of SFF TV shows, as well?

 

Any sort of major event will most likely be displayed in banner form. We won't cover everything and the banners are only temporary, but they will be displayed during key release dates.

Battlestar Galactica comes out in October right? Maybe we'll see a banner then too.

i like the idea of different banners to promote upcoming movies,etc.

quick question will these banners already be designed or will users be able to submit ideas for them?

 

It's an open call really. Anytime you want to make a banner for something major coming up, please feel free to do so and submit it to one of the SFF moderators.
