Mine was low key and relaxing, didn't want it to end.

 

What's everyone been up to lately? I really want to go on a holiday

 

Oh, a holiday sounds good about now...

I had made a start to get back into drawing again, baby steps though I am pleased with the progress so far.

 

I really want to get to Hawaii but that's going to be a few years away yet

 

So did anyone else see A New Hope in Concert at the ICC in Sydney last night?
Overall I thought it was a lot of fun! Having never seen episode 4 on a cinema sized screen before I absolutely relished the opportunity and the live orchestra was an added bonus!
Sadly I wasn't particularly impressed with the ICC as a venue, you'd be hard pressed to cram 6,000 attendees in to anywhere else though.
I have previously seen the first two Harry Potter films in concert at the Opera House. I felt I could appreciate the music just that little bit more at the Opera House as it is designed to fill the room.
Another thing I felt was a let down was the fact that masks and props were banned from being taken in to the venue. As a result there were barely any cosplayers, but plenty of nerdy SW related shirts!

I believe they will be doing episodes 5, 6 & 7 throughout the rest of the year. I'm not sure my wallet will quite stretch that far though...

 

I wish they'd bring these sorts of things to WA

 

I went to the concert and had a great evening. First time for me at that venue when I'm used to the Opera House, got a surprise at how many people were there. It was great to hear the orchestra live with the film, though it felt like the acoustics of the room was a bit off.

They are doing Empire in July.

I wish everyone will get to experience something like this. At least the Symphony of the Goddesses did tour more around Australia / New Zealand last year, It was looking that Sydney and Melbourne was going to miss out but they added additional shows to their tour and I got to go.

If I have to pick between the range… Monte would be my favourite

 

Oh, Chocolate Cherry would be great. I've only seen the Caramel Crowns.

The Oceania Forums are kinda empty, were they busier before my time?

 

The boards as a whole were busier when the prequels were coming out and things eased off around with the home releases as lives have gotten too busy or that "Star Wars is over now, I'm moving on." and a few other factors as well.
