complete noob at designing stuff in 3D. But i like to use it like i like to sketch things - it helps me keep things accurately sized and i can look at it from different angles.

So the first thing I designed was a Vos-clan ring for my girlfriend. I had this 3d printed in silver:

The next three are parts of the same "family" of ships. They share the same drive section but the front part is modular for different missions. This is the Jaguub-class carrier

This is the Vastator, an ancient Rakatan exploration ship. It was lost in the Unknown Regions back when the Rakatans first began charting hyperspace routes

 

After the Black Fleet crisis, elements of the New Republic navy and Alpha Blue conspired to never again be caught out-gunned again. They pooled their resources and designed a prototype gunship, the WarTide. Able to be manned by a crew as small as five beings if necessary, almost the entire ship is devoted to power generation and weapons. Upon seeing her for the first time, a NRI agent muttered "There's no good reason to have guns that big on a ship that small."

The Mon-Cala designed hull is re-enforced with a laminate of Balmorran Molecular shielding and reverse-engineered Quantum Crystalline armor. Though the armor the New Republic was able to create was no where near as indestructible as that on the Sun Crusher, the WarTides armor could refract or absorb 80 percent of incoming energy weapons.
The ships four-dual pulsed turbolasers drew power directly from the hypermatter reactor engines. The cannons destructive potential was amplified by combining them with experimental Pressor beam technology, built using concepts inspired by the planetary repulsors of the Correlian worlds.

The ship also has a small auxilliary craft bay at the aft, able to hold a handful of fighters or shuttles. The raw speed and maneuverability of the ship negates the need for dedicated fighter support

Full scale production of the ship was stopped after the New Republic senate was informed of the ships creation. The mantra "the New Republic does not build superweapons" was still the sentiment of most of the government. The sole prototype was mothballed, though rumors of it being used for secret missions up to and during the Yuuzhan Vong war persist...

 

After the Yuuzhan Vong war, a program was created to begin mapping out the Unknown Regions, in the hopes to avoid being surprised by any of the multitude of threats waiting there. An exploration ship was built, combining the best technology the member worlds of the Galactic Alliance had to offer: The Legendary-class cruiser


A sturdy Mon-Cala hull mated with Correllian engines. Weapons designed by the Verpine. Defensive systems designed by Balmorrans.

 

Another ship designed after the Black Fleet crisis, the LightHawk-class stealth recon ship was built to be unobservable to sensors and be able to flee as fast as possible if discovered

 

This is a Corellian courier ship, the Wayward Sun. I've been messing with the design of this for a g e s and i think she has finally come together:

Trying to cash in on the popularity of the R2 series, a small droid manufacturer, FarFri Droid Works created the D3 series.

Smaller and cheaper than the R2, the D3 was marketed towards smaller backwater worlds were the cost of an R2 would be prohibitive


This particular droid is designated D3-RP
