This is one line order, scene by scene shot list of VII.

You've read a lot of this before last spring via MakingStarWars which received it's information as transcribed by IndieRevolver.

However stuff gets lost in the translation. Even some of MF's stuff remains undecoded.

Plus there is a lot of huge details missing from the original reports!

Some interesting stuff there. Here are some things I found interesting:

• Poe picks a fight with Kylo Ren (Oh Poe...you beautiful idiot)
• TIE Fighter has landed hard. Finn okay, Poe not. Promise made (what promise!?)
• Young Kylo Ren being trained by his Uncle (Are you Luke fans happy now?!)
• Leia and Han Solo hand over Young Kylo Ren to his Uncle for training (I guess that's a confirmation that Kylo is Han and Leia's kid. Not that there was any doubt)

Well that answers that question.

 

MSW must have known all along.

 

I just find it odd that they go through trouble to to code name everything, then the last line is: " She hands it to Luke".

still confused by the fin parts. is he a future jedi or not.

 

Does this mean Rey already knows who Han Solo is or she simply recognizes him as the apparent owner of the Falcon?

 

Okay, so much for heading to bed somewhat early tonight...

 

So is the Riot Trooper that Finn was fighting really the one that he is saved from, and apparently the Trooper really did go flying all the way back just because of a shot from Han's blaster.

Anyway it seems inconsistent and there is a lot of information missing. For example BB-8 is mentioned running from the First Order on Takodana and then isn't mentioned again until the end.

 

Lot of it is confusing. like what's the point of giving Fin the lightsaber. Giving a novice a jedi weapon seems silly and stupid. Not knocking everything. Just the way Finn protrayed in it. Just felt his character as so much potiental,but it seems he just a misdirection.

 

Important to remember this is a list of what was shot. A few things could have changed with reshoots, special FX changes, edited down or cut out entirely.

 

Some bits have gone... No more Kylo in the cockpit of Falcon? I liked the sound of that but other bits are very exciting.. Luke training his nephew?

I'm MUCH more excited for this film now. Just knowing who he REALLY is, even though we all had an idea that was the case...is still very exciting to me. To know Leia and Han weren't just some fling, and that Kylo becoming bad may have caused them to break apart is something that feels genuine and real.

I have a feeling this will be a special movie

 

This one reads to be way more closer to the final film than MSW's stuff.

 

Also, it's obvious why Maz knows to give Finn the saber. Think about it:

He shows off some skill with it in the fight against the stormtrooper despite not having any experience with a lightsaber.
He didn't run away from the saber but embraced it when it was turned on, Rey was revolted by it.
Finn ends up using the weapon against Kylo in a heroic manner.

He wanted to do good, he wanted to prove himself....it was the push by Maz that helped allow that.

also where's scenes 197 and 201?

 

Here's a small thing, but cool:

I think Poe asks Finn to find BB-8.

And this is why Finn ends up with Rey.
