Memph, TN MidSouthCon 2007 (March 23-25)

Dang, Diana Ross... You know this is a 2-day Con, right? How many times are you planning on changing?

What's with the Dodgeball uniforms?

 

Watch Starship Troopers, they're Jumpball suits, seen in the beginning of the movie.

Three day con for me, I'll be there Friday Saturday and Sunday, got plenty of time to wear them all, and it's still about 50 less costumes than Kell will bring!

 

I tried watching that movie. I don't get the attraction, but to each his own, right?

You're right about Kell... She'll change almost as much as the real Queen Amidala.

 

So...where you going to take me to dinner?????

You know the hotel only has one resteraunt, right? There's nothing else really close by. But the resteraunt has great food.

 

It really does have good food. I eat lunch there every now and then. It's right around the corner from my office.

The suits are awesome we got to see them when they were @ Chattacon this past weekend...
And the Alien is awesome.

I wonder if Midsouth Con has you wait 2+ hours while judging the costume contest?

I wished I had some shots of us from the masquerade. Not only did the Alien look damned good his side kick was not too hard on the eyes either! And there were childern present, we didn't really want a wardrobe malfunction now did we?

OMG. Where is this year going? One more week until MSC and eight weeks to C4.

 

I spent the morning brushing out the wigs and will spend the evening doing a bit of last minute sewing. I am SO looking forward to this and to seeing all of y'all!!

 

I had hoped to get the fam all dressed up and take pics in our costumes, but the four of us spent the weekend in bed with a stomach flu instead.

I've only got one more piece of Rachel's costume to alter, then we should be ready.
