NSWRPF Archive Mighty Creatures

    The gods were put into existence through a mighty battle between two great enemies. The enemies destroyed much, but through the destruction, they slew eachother and rose to become spirits.

    The magical energy thrown about has formed all of the new gods.. and they are now on a dimensional vortex known as the Hallowed Grounds. Celestial beings are serving all of the gods in this single plane. It has been precisely ten years since the gods had been made.

    Not much has happened, but the gods have now developed their own senses, and it appears as if they have somehow grown more powerful. They desire their own desires as never before. It is time for the First Era to truly begin.



    Every turn, a god may spend 3 major acts, 1 ceremony, 1 wonder, and 1 ritual.

    A ceremony must be used with a major act. This ceremony can be used to either create an avatar, make your own plane, make an artifact, or increase the power of one of your domains.

    A major act is used for anything that isn't one of the above. Please note that some things a god can do as a minor act (aka, for free). These include minor terrain changes to his people's lands.

    A wonder is just that, some sort of structure that grants your people a bonus of some sort. They also slightly increase your god's power, giving you +1 to a domain of your choice. Please try and link the wonder to the domain. Also, if you lose the wonder, your people lose the bonus, but you do not.

    A ritual is a massive spell, sacrifice, whatever, that your people perform to ask a special favor from you. This can be anything to increasing their fertility, the productivity of the land, etc.

    The next turn will start at the beginning of each week, and represents roughly 50 years in the mortals' lives.

    Energies in the World:
    In the World of (it hasn't been named), there exists several different energies. Chi, Mana, Ectoplasm, and Ether energy are all co-existent. So far the gods all sense these energies, but creatures lesser than the gods may actually perceive some energies more efficiently. Manipulation of these energies may make some tasks easier.

    Ecto-plasm is a dangerous energy that causes very rare spontaneous generation of undead. Suddenly, a dead individual can raise as a zombie. However, societal upheavel should only be a worry doing the very early stages of a civilization's development, and with the PC's help, it is doubtful it can happen at all.

    There is also an energy called "Positive energy". This is poorly defined so I should think about what it means for now. I'm thinking about having it be like "life energy".

    Like this? (If you need more imagery of the Blood Seekers, if you ever saw Doomsday they are like the infected people left to die, how they became savages, but are still intelligent, etc.)



    Character Creation: Blood Seekers
    Name: Desius
    Domain: Cadivask- War Realm
    Short description: Desius, born from the Great Battle from the two All-Gods? destructive energy, Desius is the God of War, is portrayed as a Humanoid demon, who has four horns protruding his skull and the wings of a torn bat. Tribal tattoos could be seen scarred into his pale skin, three spikes coated each eye and his mouth, the third spike in the middle being the longest; all face vertically. The Blood Seekers, his creations, are humans dressed and tattooed like that of their god who are savage, but intelligent creatures, gaining their name by the blood that is spilled from their lives. Their civilizations consist of huge, crude constructed fortresses and battalions, used for power and domination than for living. Each child much like ants are selected from birth their lifelong duties, whether they be male or female they all do the same jobs; sacrafices are held by the High Priest/Priestess in front of everyone, consist of an animal, or a human criminal, on the large alter that is surrounded by the cerimonial fire.
