I have family in Greece and have been to the country twice. My family comes from Mikro Papingo up in Northern Greece in Zagoria. Has anyone heard of it. sorry for not speaking greek

It would be impossible to be in these boards without us knowing a few words in english.I'm sure I've heard of Mikro Papigo and ofcourse we all know of Zagoria(or zagoroxoria?). Near the Ioannina , right?

 

maleesta, mikro papingo is near Ionia, I know I mis-spelled that but my cousins live in the city. I'm going this summer.

I know Papingo. It's a small village in Ipeiros.

 

Well I spent three weeks over the summer in my house in Papingo. It was GREAT!!!! We were there for one of the festivals. I wish I was still there.
