Mile Hi Con Thread - ConSuite 10/22 Saturday 10PM-12AM

If I get enough motivation, I'll be making brownies to bring to the con suite...like 6 1/2 dozen or so. But I should probably start them now....while I'm doing homework and working and practicing the piano. Yeah.

 

I'll be there all weekend. Not sure what will happen after the costume contest, but I'll at least pop in for a bowl of ice cream. If the contest ends early, I'll see if I can swing by and help dish ice cream or something. In any case, I have to pop in and at least meet some of the people I don't know.

 

Hey, since I'll be offline for a bit the next couple of days - Everyone have FUN at MHC!!!! Every one stick with your buddy now! Because if you wake up in jail, you buddy is there to let you know that ya'll had one heck of a time!!!

I won't be there till around 7 or so. I have to go home and do a few things and run some errands as well.

 

i hopefully will be to the con about 3 tommorrow. my boss wont let me get my check til 1 at the earliest.

 

I may be a no show now... Depends on the car situation

 

Last I checked, there was a LARGE pan of brownies sitting on the stove waiting to travel to Denver (Brownies + ice cream = GOOOOOD) and there may be another joining it later today. OR I could just crumble them up and have 'brownie sprinkles'.

Ok, put me down for working the suite Saturday night, I am bringing an ice cream scoop! What kind of ice cream do want to bring? Would a big tub of Vanilla work?

 

The ice cream scoop's good Tev, we've got a couple people running out 45 mins before we start to pick up the goodies.

I'm getting ready to head down there in a few, I'll be down there for a few and then I'm heading home for a date, I have to work during the day tomorrow, but I'll be down there around 7:30, 8pm until whenever maybe a small sleep break and return in my Jedi costume. Like I've said before, I plan on being there for the con suite ice Cream social. Also plan on harassing some some Kligons with my lightsaber.

 

Everything is already figured out for buying for the suite, please don't bring your own stuff.

If people want to chip in to pay me back for getting everything, they can tomorrow night, that will lower the amount taken out of the RMFF fund.

Here is the plan:

Everyone helping out for the suite, please meet at my room (hopefully everyone will be able to find out the room number, i'll get it to as many people possible as quickly as possible tomorrow) at 9:00.

At 9:15 I will leave with Jonathan to drive across the street and pick up the ice cream, ice and whipped cream.

Everything else will already be in my room.

At 9:45 we should be back with the ice cream, we'll load it and the ice in the coolers, and everyone will help carry everything to the suite for setup.

Later tonight i'll post the list of things people voluteered to bring and who has volunteered to help.

Sorry about not being more informative to the group in general thus far.

I just figured that it was all figured out and there was no reason for people to worry.

 

Unfortunately, I will not see that list, as I'm keeping myself unplugged for the rest of the weekend.

But I will throw money at the problem. You get it tomorrow night.

I'm still a weak maybe, until my brother and I take a crack at the car tomorrow If he and I can fix it, then I will be there, otherwise, I have to save my pennies for the garage bill
