Lg.Is, NY Minutes - Meeting #1 9/28/02

Members present:
Dana (StarFromIHJ), Orin (Cailinn-Sarr), Jason (DarthVenom), Lauren (VLAmidala), Tristan (Moorglade), Mark (JarJarMark), Billy, and Ken (KenDeep).

Meeting began at 1:50 P.M.

1. Everyone introduced themselves.


2. Possible events were discussed including Traveling Vader. Kenny suggested some great ideas for events.

3. Possible names were discussed. Along with the already suggested Long Island Lightsabers Tristan suggested "Docking Bay 516" with the slogan "The North and South Shore of The Force." Was decided that it should be named something that is distinctly Long Island. Possible naming topics could include shipyards and aviation.

4. Disscussed having costuming be discussed every couple of meetings. Jason brought up the club possibly being involved in creating fanfilms. We discussed possible fanfilm ideas.

5. Discussed meeting locations. The ideas that were brought up involved changing locations periodically so the meetings are more acessible to more people. They also involved a location in Bellmore.

Staff positions were put on hold.


Meeting adjourned at 3:30 P.M.
