Discussions Miraluka abilities and limitations

I have been wondering for a long time, how is a miraluka limited by his/her lack of eyes? Can they use technology? Do they need droids to guide them? How would they fight? Just some questions on which I've been ruminating, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

 

They're all force sensitive and use Force sight.

That's true, but I was looking for some ideas about how their lack of conventional sight would hinder them.

 

Well their lack of conventional eyesight means quite simply without the force they would struggle to-snipe a target, pick up food, among other things.

Now of course their force sensitivity and force sight will more than likely compensate for this.

They can glimpse the future-the best can see it very well.

 

What about technology? Do you think they could even read basic; would they have a Braille?

 

They can obviously speak, and hear. As for reading, no they'd probably have to be read to.

 

Is their force vision seeing the force (and individual flavors which would make it clear who's who) or can they see actual objects? That would affect how they would fight, and if they could do things like fixing a droid.

 

They can see actual objects, because those objects are made of the Force, so to speak

They might be able grasp the metaphysical fault lines so to speak in a book.
